This shows Nigerians are happy to pay for their security. The government should learn to protect the citizens properly.

That's the annual budget of 7 states in Northern Nigeria. This is hopelessness in the government.

The South East according to the National Bureau of Statistics,NBS recorded the lowest crime rate in the country. That is good news for the region. That goes to show that all these news that the South East is insecure while other parts of Nigeria especially Lagos and South West are safe havens are all fallacy.South East is equally the area with the least poverty rate in Nigeria according to the same NBS.

Do you even listen to them in the studio or the NBS report at all? They surveyed only three geopolitical zones NW, NE, and SE meaning they have the highest crime rates in the country. Isn't your jobless people and northerners that full Lagos and SW and trying to turn it so poverty capital?

The population of North is up to what is put forward, most of the areas are empty. Also the government packs all the military and police to South because of money on road blocks.

Almost the equivalent of 10percent of the 2024 paid as ransom by citizens in Nigeria. So kidnapping appears to have become a thriving business in Nigeria

We live in a country where the president doesn't believe in statistics. What do you expect?

Population of a country like Luxembourg got wiped out in nigeria in one year. The number of people that have died in Russia/Ukrainian war is not up to twenty percent of this figure.

Why are we not making decisions based on data? The SE has heavy security presence and is the least impacted. Nigeria should embrace data-driven decision making.
