Thanks John, I'm setting up a second studio in Washington state, and the first thing I pack when traveling is your book (mid range). I bought the same 28" L&L kiln just the shorter version. I am having a little issue with glazes appearance, I'm guessing it's the issue of less mass heat when cooling. If the kiln is 1/3 less cubic feet, how much extra hold?

Not sure? You could watch cooling and write it down every 15 minutes, then plot it.

@@johnbrittpottery Will do , I have a glaze coming up with large kiln, will watch, take notes, then compare with the smaller next month when I get to #2 studio. Thank you I hadn't thought of that. I blamed it to faster cooling with less mass, but never thought of taking notes of the original size.

So, I have this book of yours. I was hoping it was ^6 firing. of course, it's not.

You can do it at cone 6...but not electric...I have tested some of those recipes and they are in the Midrange book. I can refund you...just send me an email.
