Elon Musk “mysteriously” No, it’s because Kyle was wearing down his tires trying to run down Chase so when he got there he couldn’t keep pushing the truck how he was. Also, as you get closer to a truck ahead of you, it becomes harder to follow that truck around the track because of the drag produced by the truck ahead of you, reducing your cornering ability by a fairly noticeable amount. There were also lapped trucks that Chase got to at the right time, while Kyle was unlucky when it came to when he approached those lapped trucks. All in all, Kyle Busch didn’t mysteriously fall of the pace at the end, he couldn’t keep up because of tire wear, aerodynamics, and luck with when he approached lapped trucks.

Elon Musk Yes and most of those times he had better tires and you have to take into account the skill gap between Chase and the other drivers. Most people would agree it would be much harder to pass Chase Elliot than, say, Tyler Ankrum. No disrespect, there’s just a big gap in experience. So while Kyle could easily slice his way through the rest of the pack, getting past Chase Elliot would certainly not be as easy. Not to mention, when he was gaining, which was only about every other lap or so, he was only gaining a tenth of a second those laps. It is very hard to pass someone when you are only a tenth faster than them a lap, especially if they are driving defensively, as I’m sure Chase would have done considering the context of the situation. Overall, Kyle was faster than Chase throughout almost the entire race, however the circumstances of the race allowed Chase to win. As they say, the fastest car (or in this case truck) doesn’t always win the race, and this was a prime example of that.

This was an awesome race! I like the part where Chase Elliott won in his #24 iRacing paint scheme along with him beating Kyle Busch during the end of the race! Also, it’s pretty funny to see Chase Elliott copying Kyle Busch’s checker flag bow pose that he does whenever he wins a race, lol! 😂

The only thing I can think of to get people to watch nascar is after the 1/2 way trucks pit and a 14 ft. Travel trailer is hitched up and it's a dash for cash, no yellow, only the strong survive. Either that or a 3 ft mandatory jump every 3rd lap.
