Mike and Tim, really enjoying your podcast each week. Question: I would assume that each new week opens the playbook a little wider for CJ. Would you say that the offense’s 5.4 avg. yards per reception and 2.6 avg. yards per rush is from continued growing pains for a new QB, overly conservative play calling, bad scheme, or some other cause for this mediocrity?

Maybe the concept of bringing in a bunch of portal guys doesnt work in the short term especially for a QB. It takes a while to learn a new system and gain chemistry with their skill players. I also wonder about the level of commitment for some of these grad transfers who know they wont be back next year regardless. Its an interesting conversation.
