NC500 Day 4 part 1 | Applecross Pass

Getting close to the end of the NC500 now and riding over the amazing Applecross Pass / Bealach na Ba. A brilliant ride with beautiful scenery around every turn, and then finishing with the ride down the Bealach na Ba, makes this one of the best riding days ever.

The house you said was a bit special, on the applecross approach is actually a place for young offenders. I worked there once.

I think that I was in Ullapool the same time as you, I stayed the night in a pub on the sea front and, saw the enormous cruise ship as i came over the hill, (at 1st I thought it was a block of flats)! Lol. I also did Appelcross the same day (for the 4th time) just to experience the amazing view, which never disappoints. By the way, wasn't the weather fantastic? 👍😎🏍.

Just started watching the trip of Scotland Chris can I ask where you got the satnav mounting for the 850gsa, I have got the same in triple black, they are a very underrated bike don 12000mil in 12 months enjoying the vids very good if its your first time.

Hi Michael, many thanks and glad you’re enjoying, the bracket is a BMW part: GPS Bracket BMW part 65 90 8544 610, expensive at £100 but works great with no vibrations 👍.

Just watched your series on the NC500 and found it very enjoyable. Did it myself the previous year, and you had great weather for the views. Watching your descent down Bealach na Ba, I was surprised to see what resembled radio masts on the Loch, since they were not there last year. (had to check my own video 😀) Did you find out what they were? Anyway, welcome back to two wheeled riding. Thx G
