And what benefits have you brought to the area you are visiting ? As mentioned before, hardly a challenge, thousands do this each year, residents are sick of it. What joys the NC500 Limited have brought to the area !

June, can I call you June? You do know that he more than likely bought his food from local shops when he got there? So are you saying that we can only visit somewhere if we spend money there? Is that the rules? So if a mate comes round to my house I should charge him for a brew? You don’t own Scotland, it has shown in the video how he respected the area and was a sightseeing tourist, he did nothing wrong at all. Maybe you need a new focus on your life, something positive maybe, it might make you happier.

@@thecaddyboyz He didn't, that was the point of his trip, to not spend money. Please look into the history of NC500 Ltd & it's problems & you may understand what residents have had to put up with since it's concept.

Local communities provide parking and use the revenue for community improvements but you won’t even spend £3 to support them. Well done you. Hardly something to be proud of.

Maybe this is why he made the comment about toilets being either locked or blocked, if someone is charging for the use of the facilities then they should be ensuring the place is in a usable state.

I must admit I’m at a loss here. If we go and use the toilets then we are wrong because we are doing the nc500 and it seems that people now want to gatekeep the whole of the highlands, but then we don’t use them and the communities don’t get the money? I think a few of you anti tourism folk need to decide what it is exactly that you want people to do?

@@thecaddyboyz The only folk gatekeeping the Highlands is NC500 Limited. Certainly not anti tourism, far from it but tourism is a two way street & those that don't contribute bring nothing to the areas they visit.

Great video mate, also great to see someone visiting the beautiful scenery we have here in the uk. Imagine someone trying to gatekeep that scenery or put people off travelling to very public places that they don’t own! What a travesty that would be. Well, fortunately we can go and see these places whenever we want and it has nothing to do with other people at all, you did nothing wrong and treated everywhere with respect, well done.
