mary, I don’t think i’ve ever commented on a youtube video but you talking about your mental health really inspired me to do so. I recently moved to hawaii with my mom and sister and it’s an opportunity that I knew I could not pass up. but shortly after getting here, I felt really down and depressed. all I wanted to do was stay in bed. and the constant thoughts going through my head were “I should be so happy to be in hawaii, to live in hawaii,” but of course mentally I could not get myself to feel that way. i felt like i was being sooo ungrateful. it took a couple weeks of getting into a routine before I started to feel like myself again. It felt good hearing you talk about the same thing I had just gone through and made me feel extremely validated. but thanks mary love you and your content 🩷

I lived in Edinburgh for a month and then spent a week in a camper in the highlands. At night it was so dark you truly could not see your hand in front of your face and spent 6 days without internet. Best trip of my life

Hey Mary, at 25:51 you are talking about your mental health and all I can say is: It is exactly the same for me. Everytime when something I was so excited for happens - i am like: yeah thats so cool but.. nah. I can not enjoy it or be happy about it how I would like to be and I also don‘t really know where this comes from. Maybe I don‘t believe, deep down, that I deserve these wonderful things, even when my „concious“ mind knows I do and is full of joy about it.. anyways- Thank you for talking about this.
