From what I can tell, the barkbusters cost so much foe this bike because they've got really specialist fittings for the NC750x (especially pre-2021 apparently). These seem ideal, because all i want them for it to take the rain off when commuting.

@@birchwoodbiker yeah I had barkbuster storm's on my Africa Twin, and Givi ones on my CB500X, with the latter being far more similar to these ones. I think that's what I'll go for as there are so few options pre-'21. They must have really changed the design of those bar end weights for the latest iteration! I'd love a post '21 but I can't stretch to it, so something post '19 it'll have to be, hence needing to understand the options available. Thanks for making this video to show that it really is a nice simple install.

I may me wrong, and probably am, as it may be the camera angle, but the brackets for the mirror mounts look like they're the wrong way round?

They may be 75% cheaper than barkbusters but you're comparing apples to oranges. Barkbusters are reinforced with heat treated aluminium, so...

nice one. I opted for the handguards on my Transalp but I;m a bit miffed that the only option was white 🤔 - as my bike is black I may have to swap them out!

So, you compare this junk with Barkbusters... In case of a bike fall, these shitty plastic caps would protect nothing. So good luck replacing some brake lever(s)...
