CSU Coach should be fined & suspended. Blackburn should be suspended & legally charged with aggravated assault. There is intent on video before the game & then, he carried out his threat. It was a planned attack. Coach Norvell riled up his team before the game angering them for no reason. Rivalry? Fine. Intentional violence to remove the best player in college football right now? No room for that. Nobody needs to be threatening anybody’s family or life. NCAA needs to discipline this coach & player & the local DA needs to prosecute. Doing nothing sends a BAD message paving the way for future unnecessary violence on & off the field.🙏💪🙏🇺🇸

It was a play that happens during football, it was a foul definitely and he was penalized for it, but those things happen in football. He didn’t purposely hit the guy with intention of lacerating his liver bro. This was a rival game with hella trash talk by both teams before during and after the game and it was chippy as hell by BOTH teams. Prayers up for Hunter that he heals completely. But please don’t try to stand on a soapbox for this otherwise you’re gonna have a lot of players being ejected or suspended for things that simply did be penalized and moved on from.

You clearly never played football before. The whistle was blown, not only that but he was out of the field of play and he went around his own teammate to make sure he put that hit him. What the fuck are you even talking about? When you look at the Nick Chubb injury last night, there was nothing intentional about the hit that injured Chubb, he made a football play and bad shit happened. With Blackburn? Shit was completely different. What game were you watching?

Definitely kept it a buck on this 1. NCAA did not do its job suspending H. Blackburn next game (as it seems the refs didn't want to toss folks until almost after regulation). H. Blackburn does deserve to play again this season though I do hope; there is not a 30 for 30 presentation (20 yrs from now), regarding those 11-14 personal fouls by CSU & Coach Norvell. Wishing TH#12 a full recovery from that lacerated liver.

I feel my son has the potential to play this sport eventually, but I'm honestly scared if he does take an interest in it. There are tons of stuff they don't go over not just this, and this happens a lot plus there's even worse than this. I know there's pros & cons to every sport, but this one specifically has so much that the risk seems to outweigh the benefit.

Death threats to a popular professional athlete that has the money and resources to afford protection is one thing. But death threats to a college athlete where you know where they'll be at any given time is a serious matter and people are fucked in the head if they do that. I'm not saying he shouldn't be held accountable or receive appropriate backlash, but now you're entering illegal and prosecutable territory if you threaten a student.

Plus, there was the threat of violence by Blackburn on Travis Hunter’s life before the game & his refusal to shake his hand at coin toss. Intent was there to harm the #1 player in NCAA right now.🙏💪Then, he carried it out. So, that’s a problem. NCAA doesn’t need to sign men who have been charged & convicted for rape against 3 women either. There’s no room for sexual predators in the NCAA. There’s something bad wrong with that boy.🙏💪

Lacerated liver eventually helped lay my mother to rest... she was in a car accident and the doctor said it would heal itself... 3 years later mom got sick they said the liver didnt heal and her getting pneumonia and liver releasing toxins speed up the situation... i don't condone the hit i like physical play but DKG it 1000 % right

I've played football at a pretty high level and that kinda hit happens almost every game! Ive given some of those hits and I have taken some of those hits. That hit was a little bit late but was not an egregious act by any means. Just because someone gets hurt by an aggressive hit doesn't mean the player should be banned or threatened with violence.

It was egregious what are you talking about lol I played college football , this does not happen all the time 😂 He Went AROUND his teammate to hit Travis after the play was dead . Travis and the WR literally slowed down and the safety sped up. You can’t say it wasn’t egregious when his actions is literally pointing to it . Be serious dude

@boblansonfig3972 I played a little college as well and was an all state Wr. The hit itself was not egregious he slowed up the last couple steps and did not launch his body at Hunters head ! The injury was egregious, but that can happen any with any hit. I see players launching into defenseless players' heads ALL THE TIME. Which has the potential to be far worse. This was a late hit that looked like he was trying to establish dominance of another player from a rival team. All this over the top unnecessary EMOTIONS is silly!

I blame Deion worshippers and celebrity culture. I'm rooting for him just like a lot of folks but the celebrity/hero worship over Deion is just weird. If you click on any video where Deion and Colorado is the topic of discussion, you'll see some cringey and over-the-top hero worship. It was crazy when he was at JSU but now it's in overdrive.

Y'all are all as soft as Travis Hunter. It was a football play, wasnt even a hard hit, and Blackburn played through the whistle, as he should have. Nobody is going to talk about Hunter flailing around and not protecting himself at all times on the football field? Amateur mistake...especially if you talk sh!t on the field beforehand like he did. I was rooting for Colorado, but not now after this dumb bandwagon BS. Expect more big hits, you casuals.
