They don’t have anything “handed” to them. Each and every person on that field (yes, the staff too) worked their asses off to be on that field and remain there. Yes this guy is one of anger issues and control problems, who just ruined any potential shot at the big leagues, but he still worked his ass off his entire life to be there, to be in that position and at the National Championship game. I assure you once again, nothing was handed to anyone in that field

Not a fan of recruiting immature, mentally undeveloped, future felons, who have physical gifts to play a stupid game, who often times can't control themselves, on and off the field. Probably wouldn't graduate high school, yet somehow they, get on campuses of higher learning. And only the few make it. Most not intelligent to be in a campus, and when the scholarship goes, they have nothing. Why bring hope? It's suppose to be Student-Athlete.

@@kingb9789 Nope, you are wrong. The whole system from college/university to the NFL is using, and throwing away kids. Yes, the chances are slim any kid makes it in the NFL are slim. The chances of of these kids getting a degree staying on campus even slimmer. It's not just college, or the NFL. If you are immature with anger issues, chances are you will fail in any job, and on society. Better to teach consequences. But you probably think that's racist as well. The stats are there. And to tell the truth, folks are tired of less than complete men the NFL brings in. There should be more outrage. Look at the Texans' quarterback. The NFL and Roger Goddell would rather sink the game than confront massive issues of who they hire, and promote as part of their brand. Many of these guys end up dead, too young, criminal complaints and convictions, domestic abuse, and almost always broke. Not racist, the truth. And certainly not fair to the thousands who have literally zero chance of playing more than a season of college ball, or three years avg. if they do make the NFL. Probably not fair to pick on that young man, but follow him, and the chances are unless he corrects some anger issues, he will be stuck in no win situations, and probably arrested at some point. These kids get interviewed many times. Many times, it doesn't matter if they lack maturity, and don't seem to be able to do much other than train, practice and play all. Should be true student athletes. So, the system is broken in many cases.
