What a shame that this event wasn’t filmed better. I don’t understand because most of the other Regionals had very good camera coverage. WHO dropped the ball on this one? You notice most of the comments are about the coverage and not the remarkable athletes who deserve better. Common NCAA.

So much has changed since the early 2000’s when I ran. It was just before everything went digital so nothing was recorded to look back on. I ran for UWL 1999-2001 CC season finishing 4th as a team in 2001. Such great memories.

How about a cameraperson on the lead vehicle and another vehicle filming the following pack? Or get a drone down low enough that it can zoom in on the runners to identify them and show the race progression? Pretty lousy coverage for the year 2024.

Terrible coverage couldn't see anything for the whole race, silly camera angles, up your game please

Yes the Camera work was beyond terrible......but what really killed this watching experience was the fact that they put up the list of like ten finishers WITHOUT ANY TIMES......Unforgivable

The course may be spectacular for the runners, but we found it awful for spectators and, I imagine, for drone coverage as well.

Why not get the drone at 5000m elevation that way everyone is just a speck ??

Guys like earlier this was at best poor camera work. Just look at hdrunners in southern calif that covers high school, 1000% better. You need to do better.
