@@dwightlove3704 I’m Black AND a graduate of TWO(2) HBCU schools and know coaches from SCSU. My college roommate was/is born and raised in Orangeburg, S.C. and I’ve visited him and attended football games at S.C.S.U. My point was that it shouldn’t be a surprise to ANYONE that an HBCU athlete/student excels in ANYTHING. It should be expected. Got it?

Pika Rose I enjoyed the post race interview with Richard. He explained his pre-race strategy and he was right he started slow the year before and try to catch people in the end but failed not anymore.

This was an impressive final. Quincy Hall's closing speed was crazy... his strides are ridiculous even compared to Richard and Montgomery who both have long strides but were tightening up. Coming off the curve, his form reminds me of Kirani James...or Mark Everette. He's wasting so much energy but doesn't look like lactic is effecting him at the end like WVN. He should probably run the 800m instead of the 400H...but probably hates it like most normal people LOL

Yes Hall has excellent closing speed but Richard took control immediately in this race and made everyone march to his tune.

@@dwightlove3704 Of course I watched it. That 400m, both women's and men's 400m hurdles and the men's 200m and 1500m were the best races for me. Hall closed the same way in the NCAA 400 hurdles final his senior year. Coincidentally, it came back up in my feed a few minutes ago.

@@dwightlove3704 I mean...4 years is a long time away, especially in the men's 400m. He was reportedly injured after the 400m final, which is why he didn't run the 4x400. If he runs well next 2 seasons, that will be a long career already. The US has so many guys who ran sub 44 but their bodies didn't hold up too much longer. We'll see how it unfolds for him... but he's successful nonetheless.

Keep sleeping on the MEAC! A lot top HS track talent is heading over to that conference. Stop sleeping on the HBCUs. Coppin State, Hampton, SC State and notably NC A&T have been making noise over the last 3 years on the national level. Richardson did his thing outdoors too!

The Solution Hey check it out A&T has a SUPERFROSH named Randolph Ross who just clocked a blazing time of 45.85 in the 400 it's the fastest time in the world at The Jim Green Invitational held at Kentucky.He was highly recruited by Ohio State,Iowa.He downloaded his press conference as to what schools he was going to attend.

@@TheSolution4Kickz Ross as stated before was being looked at by Ohio State, Iowa, South Carolina.Unfortunately you are going to have to wait until next year to see Ross show off his skills as a 400m runner due to the Coronavirus. I like you was looking forward to seeing him he was the Odds On Favorite to win the NCAA Indoor title.
