Notre Dame men win DMR at 2019 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

Yared Nuguse of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish showed an impressive final kick and push races to victory in the Men's Distance Medley race during the Division I Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship held at the Birmingham CrossPlex on March 8, 2019 in Birmingham, Alabama. Notre Dame won the race with a time of 9:31.55.

Can’t help but shake your head at the Iowa state anchor. I get that Yared is a phenomenal miler and there’s a difference in talent and all that but it seemed like he ran a very poor leg. His teammates set him up so well and he let the entire lead go in the first 800
