Mississippi State's unreal 8th inning rally in CWS win over Virginia

Heading into the top of the 8th, Virginia was rolling 4-0 and Griff McGarry was throwing a no-hitter. After a chaotic 37-minute half inning that saw 13 Mississippi State batters, two pitching changes and two home runs, MSU came away with a 6-4 lead. Watch the full half inning from the 2021 CWS here.

Guy sitting in front of us said "Hatcher is going to single and then Rowdey will triple". Funny that the only thing that stopped that was Hatch's base running mistake

No way you pitch to Tanner Allen in that situation. That’s a text book intentional walk scenario. Pulled the starter and then first reliever a little too early, IMO, also.
