I have been looking for geography ncert explanations for a long time but nothing worked for me. (for some reason I find reading these ncerts again and again, a very tedious task! ) But since I have discovered your channel, reading Ncerts and other books have become so much easier and faster, especially for multiple revisions. Since there is lag of 2 hours(30degree) between edge of Gujarat and edge of Arunachal pradesh. If it 10 am in arunanchal pradesh then, there would be 8 am in Gujarat according to GMT.

@@Quwwds_19 whole earth rotates 360/24=15°/hour . If you see the meridians of gujrat's western edge and arunachal pradesh's easrtern edge, you will find it 30° meridian difference. now if 15°= 1hour then 30°= 2 hours. Now, kavya, did you get it?? If not, tell me, I will make understand.

If iT is 10 aM in EasT (ArunacHal pradesH) , iT wiLl be 8 aM in (wesT)Gujarat as per GMT.. Bcz The longitudinal extent between these ends is 30° around.. And we know 1 hour =15° .. Hence proved ❤

No ,you are wrong .The sun rises 2 hours earlier in the east ,so it will rise around 12 in the west. Total difference of 30*4-120

8 am in Gujarat.. One degree in four minutes. So towards east time is added and towards west time is subtracted from meridian time

IF THE TIMING IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH IS 10 AM , THEN THE TIMING IN GUJARAT WOULD BE 8 AM , BECAUSE SUN RISES IN THE EAST AND THE TIME THERE WOULD BE MORE THAN THE WEST AND SINCE THE LONGITUDINAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH THE PLACES IS 30 DEGREES , THE TIME IN GUJARAT WOULD BE 8 AM.
