Regarding Shikamaru's face not being on the mountainface, I feel like this could be part of the worldbuilding. Naruto and his time as Hokage represented the closing age of the shinobi. The various shinobi villages are no longer at war, technological advances are growing at a rapid rate. The shinobi really aren't needed as much anymore. At that point, the Hokage is no longer this powerful ninja in the village that can protect it with strength and power, it's more of an elected role. I think Shikamaru would've been the beginning of a new time for Konoha and the rest of the ninja world and as such, there was no need to prominently display his face. Also, they ran out of space like Mt. Rushmore lmao

I think saying Sasuke could teach him a about Hyuga techniques because he "knew Neji really well" is a huge stretch and would be a very unsatisfying answer. Unless I'm missing something Sasuke left the village when he was 11 after leading an intentionally isolated life to hone his vengeance and only even joined the 4th War after Neji died. Naruto for example knows Shikamaru about a million times "more well" and probably couldn't tell you Frog type beat didly squat about shadow possession.

The whole sasukes rennigan being put in a claw grime is close to the right answer, but I think I have it. The eye was opened up on the claw mark side of its body not the ten tails “flesh” using the previously shown panel of code putting his eye into one of the other bodies we can theorize that after losing an eye code takes sasukes and puts it in himself thus being able to use his claw marks to have all claw grime share this one rennigan

The fact that time doesnt flow in daikokuten should be a problem for sasuke. we know that only kawaki can access it and move freely, woudnt sasuke actually trap himself if he travels to daikokuten?

Earth doesn’t have chakra, it has natural energy ((2 different things)) because chakra exists when one combines physical energy and mental energy… so for the earth to have chakra it would mean that it can knead and combine its physical and mental energies to create chakra which means the earth would be sentient. So either it is a plot hole or someone used the wrong word to describe whatever boruto did.

I think 3 small changes in the pain arc would make the rest of the show even more legendary. 1. Kakashi doesn’t actually die of chakra exhaustion, just passes out for the arc. 2nagato doesn’t revive the villagers. Everybody important is saved by tsunade. 3kakashi doesn’t meet his dad.. he meets him when he is revived by edo tensei. I think this allows the rest of the story to feel more realistic for that series and might shorten it just a little.

The thing about a potential child between Rock Lee and Sakura is that he/she might not have enough chakra control for the 100 seals technique because Sakura’s chakra control could be cancelled out by Rock Lee’s lack of chakra control

Further, we know that Sakura herself didn't inherit her chakra control, as she's not from a ninja family; so it seems pretty clear that her chakra control is simply hers, and not related to genetics at all. Pile on top of this, that neither the 8 gates nor the 100 seals techniques are inherited in the first place. They're simply learned abilities that anyone can be taught, assuming they have the physical/chakra control to perform them. Which means that a child between Rock Lee and Sakura isn't even necessary for this theory. The theory is literally "if these 2 characters had a kid, it would inherit each of their non-inherited abilities"

@@phiefer3 it's because inherited skills aren't something you're born with but something you pick up from your parents. Best example I can think of is Sasori. He wasn't born a master puppeteer but he ended up being one because of granny Chiyo. You might not have been born with innate carpenting skills but having a carpenter parent is a really great start to become one. Apply it to Sakura and Lee's hypothetical child and boom 8th gate user with the byakuya seal. Assuming they don't get Lee's chakra impotent gene.

What if the superior claw grime was the first claw grime Code made, which battled and adapted to Sasukes abilities. After that battle, code continued making claw grimes for 2 years but they never encountered anyone as strong as Sasuke.

I want to say this at the start, I know all the obstacles in the way of this theory, I know all the abilities of the abilities of the clan I’ve read and watched all of Naruto. I know that this is highly unlikely. But we know that their eye abilities damages their mind they should not be on the battlefield RB police officers like that their bloodline ability does that make them useful warriors it makes them a liability the second Hokage already made it clear they are bonkers. They should not be trying to kill our subdue people. They should be trying to heal or help the medical field. The ones that are better at healing rise up in the ranks and the ones that are not good at healing should be lower in ranks. I know that this is highly unlikely I know theexist to make war, and I think that’s sad that everyone sees them as useful killers but their story is very sad. They didn’t have a choice. Their ancestors lied to them.

Kinda sad that my theory about Otsutsukis and the Divine Trees are members of the same species didn't made it into the video, but i liked these theories a lot! I'd love if Boruto's new technique leaned towards his hyuga heritage, since i think the story never points out much about Boruto having hyuga blood, having only the anime talk about it when he thought he had awoken the Byakugan. Most of the aparitions about hyuga/byakuna stuff are centered around Himawari instead And i get that this is to not overload Boruto's character with too many concepts (he already has the whole Karma, Otsutsuki body, shibai reincarnation or whatever thing in his character). So i think having his hyuga heritage forming part or one tecgnique rather than his whole character would be a good way to not forget about that part of his character, while not making it a central point of his character traits

You said that Sasuke knew Neji very well, but I'm not sure that's true. In fact, I'm not confident that Sasuke ever saw Neji fight and had no interactions with him after their first meeting. Every time Neji fought in Naruto Sasuke was either out of comission or not in the area. In Shippuden Neji barely fights and I think Neji dies before Sasuke arrives at the 4th Shinobi World War, so they never actually get a chance to meet in Shippuden.

What if urashiki was shibai's underling, and after shibai achieved godhood, he left to lead more ōtsutsuki to do the same? Or maybe that's who's really driving Amado, and he was the real ōtsutsuki that promised he'd bring his daughter back through the means of shibai. it would also explain who both code and kawaki's karma seals would really bring back. As of yet we haven't seen any proof that a human can be brought back via karma, but I know I'm not the only one who doesn't trust and believe everything that Amado says at face value. I've been thinking about the inconsistencies between the manga and the anime and this scratches off a bunch of boxes: why urashiki hasn't been introduced in the manga, why Amado looks and sounds like he's terrified even though his plan has worked out with the best possible outcome, and finally why urashiki was so conveniently back burned yet the author still stresses that he's canon and very important. Y'all will probably say that none of this makes sense and I'm stupid which, maybe. Yet I haven't been able to get this out of my head and would like anyone else to weigh in on the subject. Sorry for the long comment, I don't do this often.

I really liked that 10/10 theory. Am I the only one who thinks kawaki doesn't deserve or need a talk no jutsu and that it would ruin his character arc To me it feels kinda cheap when a character goes through tens of episodes, sometime several seasons, years of planing, forsake everyone and everything and sometime destroy so many lifes only to be talked out of it I really thing it would feel like an insult to all the time spent watching the show, like just quiting at the last second

Dude, that last one is super interesting. At this point, I really think they're going to introduce time travel to manga canon. With Boruto time travelling to train and stay away from Eida and the Shikamaru Hokage mountain theory it makes too much sense. Plus, if you time travel, it's a great way to connect Rasengan Uzuhiko to the Hyuga because Boruto could train directly under Neji at that point.

Tobirama was in a squadron with Hiruzen, Danzo and a Uchiha called Kazuma or Kazama back when Tobirama sacrificed his life and elected Hiruzen as the third hokage.

I'd like to point out that having a regen factor would make 8th gate impossible. Since the 8th gate works by puncturing your heart, and thus causing Chakra to flood into the heart, super heating it. Technically speaking, once the regen factor heals the puncture in the heart, Chakra would no longer have a path to flow into the heart in the first place. So while a child between Sakura and Lee could use up to te 7th Gate, and heal from it quickly, I'm inclined to believe that the 8th gate would be impossible to maintain. At least under the assumption that the hole, the pathway into the heart, has to be present for 8th gate to remain active. @nchammer23

My thing about Sakura and Rock Lee’s baby is that neither one of them obtained their power genetically. Could legitimately introduce any character who is able to train in both 100 healings and the 8 gates. Same idea as Rock Lee worshipping Lord Jashin/100 Healings or Sakura learning the 8 gates. I just think Kishimoto wants to avoid these kinds of combos because they’re broken to the point of being boring. Unless Sakura joins Rock Lee in training the Suicide Corps and that’s seen as a way to have Konica be defended against Otsutsuki if an all out invasion happened

If child of Sakura and Rock Lee or just Sakura used Eight Gate and the Strength of a Hundred Seal then couldn't that person just find a medical way to stop chakra flowing into the heart to stop the Eight Gate ? Sakura propably could find a way to do this with all her medical knowledge and chakra control.

And Sakura absolutely wrecks Neji in those areas. I feel that it is perfectly plausible for Sakura to find an alternate way to open, and then close, the gates at will. Just requires a bit of research, experiment, and application of her knowledge and expertise in Medicine along with her Perfect Chakra Control. Finding other ways to achieve an once thought of "impossible goal" is what humans have done throughout history.

He met Neji during the chunin exams, but only exchanged a few words before they started. He left with Kakashi before Neji’s preliminary against Hinata, and he was off training with Kakashi until after Naruto v. Neji. He soon left the village and didn’t return until the war arc when Neji cosplayed a kabob. Sasuke and Neji had no relationship whatsoever 😂

The theory about Boruto and Kawaki fighting in the past is soooo good. A lot to think about there. I think the answer will be a mix of all the variables nick outlined. I think 1. They retconned the story since that initial unveil of the destroy hokage faces (since Kishimoto took back over), but 2. as a way to smoothly transition back on track without caveating the entire opening scene of the series, they could still incorporate the time traveling turtle bullshit (lol) and it would a great way to save the original narrative. It could also serve as an opportunity to introduce another subplot of how boruto needed to go to the past to access something or someone, to which Kawaki chased him there to stop him from getting whatever Boruto was looking for there - Then that would bring us to modern day, where they are fighting in the past, on a pre-shikamaru cliffside

RASENGAN UZUHIKO THEORY First off huge fan of naruto and naruto explained, been following KZbin for awhile and watch every video thank for you for content!🔥 So since the mechanics of uzuhiko are still alittle fuzzy I was thinking and it seems nobody has thought of this theory, but what if uzuhiko and “earths rotation” let’s Boruto actually gain the power of the earths rotation, but he actually adopts his own rotation? That being said on activation Boruto gains his own orbit and anyone touched by Boruto gets sucked into his orbit? Code then fighting to stay still is no longer in the earths rotation but in Borutos? Making gravity work against him causing the dizziness and damage. This would also work well with the thought of Boruto being Mitsukis Sun since the Sun controls our solar system and basically Code is just another planet. Although I dont have all the details I figured I’d shoot it your way and with your knowledge maybe I’m on to something? Thanks for the content!!!🔥

The Sasuke theory is flawed, such as Sasuke wouldn’t be able to move in Kawaki dimension because time doesn’t flow. The only reason Kawaki can is because he wields the eye that’s connected to it. Also in the first ep Naruto is still in the dimension so Naruto won’t be coming out for a while

The part about Boruto's new Rasengan using the rotation of the Earth is to do with perpetual motion, I assume. Whereas a normal jutsu cast onto an enemy would dissipate over time, a rotational jutsu (the rasengan) that matches the rotation of the earth would be infinitely propelled. I'm no scientist, but I know that true perpetual motion/energy isn't possible in the real world because friction and momentum cause eventual dissipation. something like that. So I suppose in this case, by matching the rotation of the Earth, it is essentially not moving at all... or it is moving so fast that in the grand scheme of earth's rotation it is effectively still. SOO if something "isn't rotating at all", there's no rotation/momentum for it to lose. if that makes sense? The way I see it in my mind, is like those illusions when something spins so fast that it starts to look like its spinning the opposite direction or looks like it isn't spinning at all. And then the part about Earth's Chakra is probably since the rasengan is spinning in sync with the Earth, it happens to access the Earth's infinite chakra pool, which fuels the energy aspect of the jutsu

If say one was to rip out their heart, for the 8 Gates to stop & they then can come back to life, the brain should still be active for 5min up to 15min, so that should be enough time, hopefully, for the heart to regenerate, within the world of Naruto. Still, that's a massive gamble, but say you used it like 10 or 15 times already out of 100, I think you'll be good, & even with such an ability, I think one would get strong enough to where they ONLY have to use it when they are about to die, but they'd be good enough to never die, like say with Naruto & Sasuke, they only died once, & then look at Tsunade, she only died once & had the mitotic regeneration after getting bisected by Madara. In the end, if said person makes it to old age with such, I think at max they'd only use such say 50 times, give or take. Now Tsunade also used such or whatever to make herself look young & sexy, so that ate up more of that too, but say if you don't use it & only use it for realy life & death, then that's a different story. Ya' know?

arent tenketsu gates the first things REPAIRED by regeneration naruto didnt seem to have ANY lasting effects from nejis 64 palms. mitotic regneration seems like the perfect OFF BUTTON for 8 gates restoring the tenketsu. thats the MAIN thing naruto was able to regenerate in might guy.

To be fair, 8 gates person with this amount of regeneration would be able to deal with any threat that would appear (unless Taijutsu would be made irrelevant), and then some really skilled mednin would definitely be able to heal them enough to close the 8th gate. Yes, it requires two people, but that's what teams are for. I mean, Might Guy was a real threat to Madara. I'm sure if he was able to last two or three times longer, we would have seen Madara use susano or something like that. We wouldn't need to go to full hundred to make Madara serious about this fight. Also, this potential offspring of Sakura would most likely inherit her strength as well. And quite possibly ability to use jutsus too. Which would make it even more broken.

My theory is that Code keep taking L’s because it’s a distraction to make you feel like he’s useless. But once Boruto vs Kawaki comes to an end and Kawaki loses; Code will use that opportunity to finally become 100% Otsutsuki which will make everyone shit they pants.

What if you intend to heal daemon with an attack that would kill him? Or like if there was a jutsu that operated like ghost riders penance stare or judgeman from jjk? Like with both of those instances you don't intend on harming daemon, his actions would be what dictates his outcome not you. Or if there was a jutsu that selectively healed people based on their morality (aka a cheap but cool cop out jutsu for sarada). If someone hit daemon with a jutsu like that, they wouldn't necessarily be trying to harm either. They could essentially be trying to heal him, especially if it was someone who thought daemon was pure of heart, righteous, moral, etc. Because I can think Bin Laden is moral, but just because those are my thoughts, doesn't make it true

I don’t really get the theory of Rock Lee and Sakura having a child that could handle the eighth gates. Like technically anyone can learn the gates and lee isn’t exactly a taijutsu master in terms of genetics, he just had no other choice and worked his ass off. Sarada could, as she is now (an Uchiha) learn the eighth gates like anyone else, so technically we could get all three, byakuya seal, 8 gates, and a sharingan. not only that but if lee was her dad we don’t know if his lack of ninjutsu would effect his offspring, it seems to be 50/50. I totally agree if it’s ship wise because i love Lee and Sakura paring but yknow, just gonna throw out that logic. anyways, it would also be a cool plot line for sarada to learn from lee and have a cool uncle connection with someone that isn’t trapped in another dimension, and would create a badass character, one that shonen women deserve to have.

Unless Sasuke takes Naruto out and travel to some other dimension possibly where he and Boruto were the past 2 years hence they being undetected. 9:14 Did Sasuke ever meet Neji? Sasuke was KO when they were in the forest of death, then he was taken out of the prelim before the neji/hinata fight. Then Neji is not in the story at all before the sasuke retrival arc, Arc in wich they don't see eachother. The rocklee theory is completely busted. Rocklee would pass down absolutely NOTHING to his child. The 8 gates and taijutsu is completely based on hard work. Sakura and Sasuke making sadara, she would just need to train to obtain 8 gates. She would be stronger without rocklee being her dad. LMAO. Cpuld you summon the geto inside the king of hell and create a clone of the ten tails? .. and could you use koto on yourself to not lose your mind if you absorbed the ten tails? .. .. see where this is going?.. what if nagato gave itachi a Rinnegan and what if itachi gave nagato tsukiyomi. So nagato could place itachi under tsukiyomi before itachi got offed from his chakra illness so itachi could learn the Rinnegan .. then when itachi passed away what if nagato brought him back to life using the king of hell. Then what if itachi summoned the geto inside the king of hell to revive the tentails to absorb it using koto. But than what if itachi used izanagi to bring back the koto eye. And what if itachi then took his tsukiyomi eye back from nagato and koto'd it to evole into an ems tsykiyomi eye to get a perfect susanoo. This might be very dumb question but why wouldn't the person with a healing factor or Strength of a hundred just heal their heart. I halve of your body can get ripped off and you can regenerate that entire half, tenketsu points and all then why can't you just regenerate the tenkentsu point that you ruptured to start the 8th Gate to bring it to an end. To me it seems that if Tsunade learned how to open the 8th Gate she would automatically stop it if she had 100 healing active, and would have to intentionally prevent her heart from healing to keep it running and use it.
