Here’s the lesson I got from Naruto: From the beginning of the show (particularly the land of waves arc) people constantly talk about becoming an emotionless tool who does what they’re told, and that becoming that is what makes a shinobi strong. But in reality, they’re just denying a part of themselves (their humanity). And by pushing down their humanity, and not fully accepting all aspects of themselves, they become weaker. The true path to strength is self-acceptance (symbolized by how Kurama goes from being something Naruto denies about himself, to something he embraces).

guys i have a doubt so can a random edo tensei character for example, edo tensei itachi beat an adult naruto or any other character as he has infinite chakra nd is pretty much immortal. Like naruto doesnt have a sealing jutsu so how is he defeating any edo tensei character. That is assuming he doesnt know who the caster is.

Even if Sakura was trained by Kurenai for Genjutsu, I'd still want Tsunade to teach her medical ninjutsu too. It would actually be pretty smart for medical ninja to have Genjutsu so they could evade battle if they're seen in most cases.

Also her genjutsu could be the most disturbing yet, with perfect medical knowledge she could make you feel the suffering of an untold number of medical ailments. And while most ninja are probably used to the pain of typical combat injuries, they could be much less prepared for the pain of kiney stones, a root canal without anesthesia, or just the recovery process of 4th degree burns.

my theory for why tobi is so different from obito is that it's not actually obito playing the part: it's the white zetzu known as guruguru (who sounds and acts EXACTLY like tobi) being given control over obito's body whenever he has to take on his tobi persona. this would also be why we never seen obito's eye under the mask unless he's activated his sharingan: guruguru doesn't have eyes.

@@voyager1568 i mean...it's POSSIBLE that obito is just really good at changing his voice but this is a guy that watched his friend/rivel kill his crush,had half his face crushed by a giant ass rock and was VERY serious about the eye of the moon plan and puppeteering the akatsuki so it just seems unlikely to me that he'd be able to change both how he talks and how he acts so drastically into a fun-loving idiot that just want's to be on the team. feels like something TOO far from his actual personality when his personality is the result of that level of trauma.

Obito’s personality doesn’t seem like it could be that “light hearted and fun.” And when we look at his past, Guruguru was just as light hearted as Tobi ended up being. But what I believe is this. Obito had the chance to understand and know both Madara, and Guruguru. And when he dawned the orange mask, he decided to play the “Guruguru” role; fun, silly, etc. and when the time was exactly right, and Zetsu informed him of Sasuke’s win, he stopped “pulling punches” and went from Guruguru mode to Madara mode, because in that moment, Tobi and Obito HAD to be the same person

I love these Q and As! I would argue that Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood did the best writing of an ensemble cast of all time, where the number of players kept expanding, yet every single character had a role to play in the story and the ending, and no one was forgotten. For making Tenten relevant, I'd also hold her in reserve in large scale battles. Shurikens and Kunais aren't as good as fireballs or Earth spikes. But unless you're a Senju or Uzumaki, then your chakra pool will run out eventually, and that's when you send in Tenten, because then her opponents can't ignore the weapons as freely as they please. Sure it would be kill stealing, but underhandedness is what ninja are supposed to be about.

Another boost could be teaching her the same chakra cloaked blades that Asuma used. Assuma could throw a kunni through a tree and a boulder, imagine if every one of the thousands of kunni/shirikens she creates had that level of destructive/penetrating power. But also let her get some better weapons in general.

I didn't know where else to comment this, but was watching your legendary weapons video and wanted to put why I too am a huge fan of the Executioner's blade! The Executioner's sword ability would heal rolling (the edge having slight bends when it comes in contact with other metals) as well as any form of chipping. The other implication behind the name would mean it has an extremely fine edge, as they are not meant for battle, similar to that of a filet knife. So in a drawn out fight so long as you are getting blood on the blade, you will have a significantly sharper edge to cut with that will maintain that insane sharpness even as it clashes with and damages other blades. Pair that with the insane amount of force output from the weight of the weapon alone on such a small amount of surface area, and the cutting power is insane. To add on to the Ten Ten part, I would like her to use her long range attacks to setup Lee and Neji, as they are close range Taijutsu users, she could be throwing items to make the fleeing ninja funnel to Lee and Neji. The enemy realizing that its her that should be priorty one cause she is the one that sets up the kills. She puts those spikes on the ground that Zabuza used to slowdown Kakashi When enemy comes after her. Let's say enemy uses a wide range ninjutsu attack to get her while she is surrounded by the spikes, she jumps away from spikes and uses a long bow to keep enemy away while Lee and Neji comes, once backed up she can support team with smokebombs that compliments Neji with Neji communicating with Lee with whistles on the enemys where abouts. Once again throwing weapons in the smoke bombs to funnel enemies right to Neji.Her character has many many strengths thats just not tapped into.

How is Tsunade’s Hundred Healings replenished so much despite depleting it protecting Konoha. Like obviously she replenished it a bit in the time up to the war. BUT The sheer amount of back end chakra she had stored in it seemed more than the battle of pain. Despite she would’ve had more time before pain to store chakra up. Not to mention she was in a coma for huge part of the time span up to the war.

Yet it seemed like she had more chakra than she did when she depleted it all during the pain fight. Which put her in the coma. She had years to store up more chakra before the pain fight. And months at best in the time frame before the war.

I've always imagined the seal is kind of like a bulb syringe. It will always try to return to its original form. So, when emptied, it will absorb chakra on its own to regain its capacity. Pushing chakra into the seal once it's full is like reforming it to a larger capacity. I also imagine that it's a very delicate structure which is why it takes so long to form something stable enough to avoid collapsing when chakra is withdrawn from the seal. Basically, you use chakra control to hold the activated seal in place until enough chakra is present that it can sustain itself. At least, that's my head canon for why she can so quickly regenerate years of chakra storage and why it's so hard to establish the seal in the first place.

I love the idea that the Tobi persona allowed Obito to experience the life he never got to live. In a weird way, you could say that he was using Deidara as a Kakashi surrogate (they both only ever show off one eye after all). Part of me wonders if living the life he lost was the root of his doubting the Eye of the Moon Plan during the war arc - he saw the Obito Uchiha he could’ve been, a theme that is repeatedly brought up during the war arc, and realized how much better it was than the Obito Uchiha he had resigned himself to being. Makes you wonder.

Tobi was the name of the spiral zetsu obito met when he met madara, and this spiral zetsu also showed up in the war arc, and was considerably powerful then. I believe obito changed his name to tobi and acted like that not only as a disguise, but so he could easily switch out with the zetsu tobi when he had other things to do but deidara still needed backup

I think it's safe to assume that Sakura is probably better than Tsunade at this point. She was able to impress granny chiyo as a teenager. Tsunade basically refused to do anything after dan died, and likely didn't improve further. I feel like Sakura was pretty close to Tsunade capabilities before the Naruto timeskip and is now around the same age Tsunade was when she stopped. This in addition to obvious technological advancements I'd think she's probably the best in the world

I LOVE the idea of your Tenten arc. I would watch the hell out of that😁! I just imagine she sees how the world is getting more complex with new opponents coming out that are pushing their previous notions of strength and who the strongest is so Tenten realizes she’s severely unprepared and doesn’t feel worthy to stand next to the rest of team Guy. So she perhaps sends a letter to Guy saying she’s sick and contagious or something to get them to stay away as she gets a head start setting out on her own to scour the land to seal the strongest ninja tools and weapons she can find. We can see her battle new enemies and even have some phenomenal heartfelt moments where she has to protect people and doesn’t think she’s strong enough on her own but realizes she has to dig deep and find a new level of strength to protect these new people she meets because no else will. Because she’s the only one there at that time that can do it. There’s no stalling for back up or retreat. If she doesn’t win not only will she die, but she’ll let the people she’s protecting who believe in her die as well. It will be great to see her get by just on her own strength and even fail sometimes and have to get back up and resume her journey. To become conflicted in moments like taking powerful that may mean a lot to a community’s survival like the water tool you mentioned in the desert town or even culturally as an artifact that the people of a town find their pride and history through. And have Tenten leave those tools behind to not fall to temptation just in pursuit of untold strength. Midway through her journey we can see Team Guy catch up and try to drag her back home. Maybe after a very close battle that they arrive and jump in at the last second after she’s been beaten to her limit and barely conscious but trying in vain to keep fighting. But then we can have another heartfelt scene where Tenten breaks down and begs her team to just let her do this, that she NEEDS to do this. Not just for the village but for herself and her pride as a proper kunoichi. Then Team Guy can agree to let her finish her journey but only if they can tag along. Telling Tenten that they don’t see her as a weak link and that they all fully rely on her with their lives in battle to back them up so it should be obvious to her that they know she’s perfectly capable of taking care of herself. But that doesn’t mean you HAVE to take care of yourself and that it’s a disrespect to your comrades to not let them support you in your struggles with the faith you’d do the same for them. So we can finish the arc alongside her team seeing her get all of these insane weapons and ninja tools sealed away and return to Konoha feeling both stronger as a ninja and a stronger bond with Team Guy. It could serve to give all of Team Guy some much needed screen time and storytelling in Shippuden.

14:14 when Logan said you brought back his love for Naruto I nodded my head as you brought back my love for Naruto too. I dropped off Naruto not long after the Pain arc as it’s not available in English outside purchasing it from iTunes and I was beginning to get frustrated with the lack of consistency of the story. My main gripe was with Sasuke wanting to crush the Leaf after Itachi told him he did everything he could to protect the Leaf. But I came across your videos and found I didn’t know nearly half the references were referring to. And there were a lot. It made me realize what an in depth world Koshimoto had developed, which is one of my favorite aspects of story telling. So I finished off the remaining episodes available in English and made the plunge and purchased the rest of Naruto Shippuden on iTunes. And I’m loving it. It has some really great arcs and some of the y favorite parts of Naruto. It was so worth the purchase. I’ve even come to accept and enjoy the Sasuke character arc. Especially the story Hashirama tells of “what is a village” and “what is a shinobi”. I love entire flashback and how it relates to Sasuke and Itachi and Danzo and so many more characters and themes in Naruto. It’s the main theme of Naruto and I love it.

Don't forget that Obito also is implied to get that personality (and mask design later?) from the swirly face fucked up Zetsu since he was the same way. Obito had to have gone through a phase where he used that Zetsu as his 'mask', if only while still recovering and using him as a suit, where he picked that up from him.

My favorite lesson from Naruto is that there are in fact actually very, very few genuinely bad people. Most enmity is born of misunderstanding, miscommunication and Isolation. And that most of those problems can be solved, not with outright killing, though that does happen, but with dialogue and even just the attempt to create that dialogue can make miracles happen.

For me, the best lessons from Naruto were/are: -understanding and balance are both the path to inner wisdom and truth but also, in more complex forms, the basis of strong, healthy social connections as well as social stability and unity -systems can only be changed from within if many, many people attempt to do so at once (ie, Naruto's generation creating and maintaining a world of peace) -one must confront their own pain and inner hate before they can achieve peace -if you refuse to understand someone's side/pov/outlook and construct your approach around that to some degree you will never be able to win them over

i love the lore of genjutsu, you are using 1 of a person's 5 senses to poison their mind to trick, distract, or even control them. really like the silly Tobi explination, man that ended too soon. it was so much fun. i agree with KIsame that he was valuable by lightening the mood for the Akatsuki. that's a wonderful lesson, project positivity and people will follow you, sadly Karin didn't learn that and grow as a character but i digress. man, on the topic of Karin, it's sad that her Uzumaki ability of the adamantite chains wasn't used more. she was a god dam prison warden so her using it more freely but in a smaller capacity than Kushina would have been awesome even before we are given the connection that she's from the same clan.

Another simpler explanation is that Tobi is actually a made up identity based on the White Zetzu Obito wore and who "wore" Yamato during the war arc. And Obito adopted that identity/personality as a public persona so that zetsu could serve as a stand in for him at need. Or even possibly Tobi was that Zetsu the whole time and Obito would use Kamui to warp in and out of him, and either ride along, and/or take over with the personality changes being Obito taking over and/or abandoning his persona.

I agree with most of your explanation about the Tobi persona, but I think you left out one key input: Guru Guru, the White Zetsu that Obito was wearing when he saw Rin die. There is a lot of Guru Guru's ridiculous personality in Tobi. I think that he was key influence on the character that Obito created for his "cosplay".

nick to answer your question. Women with beautiful long hair spend a very long time and lot of money/resources for taking care of their hair. As a mom, the woman has more responsibilities and as such need more to allocate more time/resources to those responsibilities. Short hair=less hassle. also when you have a baby/toddler having an exceedingly long hair would result in that hair getting pulled by said toddler

About the obito goofiness, i think it is bcs when obito is being tobi he has one of the white zetsus with him, and if you remember from the flashbacks to the cave with madara, one of the zetsus is goofing all the time, i think obito let him the control while being tobi, you can even note that the voice pitch is different

My theory was always that Obito and Tobi (Zetsu) were two independent people in the same body. When he was Tobi, Obito was dormant and vice versa. After all Tobi's personality and voice are exactly the same as White Zetsu's even when White Zetsu was acting as a solo figure. Perhaps he can mentally shift into the kamui dimension as well? That would also better explain how he transferred his sharingan to Kakashi from the "afterlife".

Man, imagine if Tenten was somehow able to collect all 7 ninja swords of the Hidden Mist. If she truly was able to learn and master any weapon she wields, then she'd be OP with these swords. Just imagine, Tenten on the battlefield. Then she performs shadow clone jutsu to make 5 other clones of herself. She then pulls out a containment scroll like Mangetsu does to release 6 of the swords to have your own personal version of the "hidden swordsman of the mist/leaf" I say only "6" because I doubt she'd be able to use Samehada with his hunger for massive chakra reserves
