23:17 thing is, they set up TENTEN to do that exact thing! After Madara becomes the 10-tails Jinchuriki, he spits up the Amber Purifying Pot mid flight…and it lands on Guy, Lee, and Tenten. Tenten recognizes what it is and tells Guy and Lee “go backup everyone else, I’ll figure out how work this and catch up, and then maybe we can seal Madara!” …and then she’s forgotten about until the Infinite Tsukoyomi is activated because it’s Tenten and she’s allergic to screen time. Imagine the alternate Timeline where Sixpaths Naruto, Rinnesharingan Sasuke, and Juubidara are all duking it out, and Tenten runs in holding the pot Tenten “HEY MADARA!” Madara “what now- NOOOO!” (Sealing noises) And Tenten ends the war. (Although probably what happens next is while everyone is mid-celebration, Black Zetsu swoops in out of nowhere and grabs the pot and uses it as the catalyst for Kaguya’s resurrection, which I feel is a BETTER version of the plot twist instead of just Zetsu stabbing Madara like “by the way I was never working for you.”)

What Nick said about The Executioner Sword made me think: "How could the Executioner Sword be slightly better?" It can grow and gain more edges and spikes when it absorbs blood and does not just regenerate. Sure, gaining more size would make it more of a burden, but I love the idea that each time, it could appear in its standard form or as a crazy Swiss Army Knife-looking abomination. And maybe a true master could find a way to break off the new additions and launch them as projectiles.

I will make the argument for kunai and maybe to a lesser extent, shuriken as my former No. 1 spot. That cannon was terrifying... 😅 Everyone has kunai and shuriken, it's like basic ammo for your armies guns. It may not do much typically it terms of damage with our mini boss protagonists, but everyone uses it and we do see a lot of people die from it but they're fodder characters. The main use it seems to have is for positioning which is itself absolutely crucial in any fight and it can be used in creative ways. -Sasuke and Naruto using the giant clone shuriken against Zabuza. -Shikamaru using it to extend his reach with his shadow jutsu, Temari fight as an example. -How broken was Minato with the flying raijin? 😅 -Granny Chio with her chakra threads. -Itachi hitting targets behind cover. -Be used to gain purchase on say a tree or rock or unstable ground. They may not be able to inflict as much raw damage as some of the other tools but they are so basic and necessary to all nations and individuals they really should be No 1. or 2. TLDR: Incredibly versatile, nationally and personally used weapons and tools.

9:15 I made Naruto OCs where the concept was basically "make Seven Swordsman members that actually fit their sword." So the person I gave Kubikiribōchō to uses the 8 gates. He has the strength to consistently break the sword so its ability is actually useful, usually breaking it by stabbing it (& the opponent) into a tree, trapping them there unless they want to pull themselves off. Plus once he uses the 8th gate its an infinitely breaking & regenerating sword... well infinitely for like a minute :P (I know "Naruto OCs" sounds cringe & bad but I've tried making my guys cool & good. I know giving someone the 8 gates is stereotypical but I think it fits here & is a unique spin on it)

Like I said even without the curse mark he could infuse Hashiramas cells to give you wood release, he knows how to use Snake Sage mode, he knows how to use Chakra Absorbtion Jutsu, which not only gives him people’s chakra just by touching them, but also their memories. Like so much stuff and probably way more since we know he created Mitsuki which is like…insane because he’s the first fully artificial life (unless you count Zetsu which would just make it even more impressive that Orochimaru could do something better than an Otsutski)

Solid list, but I'd move the Chakra Gatling down off the list for Orochimaru's Sword of Kusanagi. Its just the Kubikiribōchō, but better, because it doesn't need blood to be Indestructible and its much easier to use due to its native size. Also, it can stretch to kilometers long. Also, it can be used telekinetically.

If you really wanna go down the road of the executioner's sword's ability, It actually has one of the most practical abilities in terms of swords. No matter how good you are, the edge of a blade erodes over time, but with the executioner's sword, as long as you're using it on a person, you never have to worry about that basic weakness of swords. To be fair though, we never even see someone sharpening a kunai in naruto so maybe none of the weapons have that very realistic problem.

Question... Could you consider Pain's ability to control 6 different bodies as a Puppeteering ability... Think about it. he attached chakra receptor throughout the body which he uses to control them. He even brought yahiko's body closer to him during the naruto fight to control it better. My theory is that he might not use chakra threads like those from sand village but rather he increase or decrease the chakra he applies there to contract or relax the respective muscle

For the gauntlet, doesn’t that mean inorder to create the mini scrolls that contain jutsu, you would first need someone to actually perform that technique I order to seal it into the mini scrolls. Kind of defeats the purpose doesn’t it? Because the gauntlet was made to allow anyone to use jutsu in hopes that ninja will no longer needing to rely on learning the jutsu or being restrained to using jutsu of your own chakra nature. But would still be relying on the fact that you still need people who already know and can perform the jutsu for you in order to create the mini scroll ammunition in the first place.

Yes it does... It was shown either in the Boruto Movie or the series, that Ninja were using Jutsu to "attack" the scrolls and that's how they mass produced them... so they would still need ninja to actually use them... unless they could somehow copy the scrolls...

One ninja that i think is kind of underrated are chakra blades. You can have an extremely effective weapon it just depends on you chakra nature. Wind amplifies cutting. Lightning amplifies thursting. Earth amplifies the hardness of your tool. Fire and water i dont think hasnt been explored but point being anyone could potentially access and use a chakra blade or tool.

The biggest missed opportunity with ten ten is not putting summoning paper ON her weapons. If she put a kunai with a ribbon of kunai summons wrapped around it and figured things out she would have a needler grenade from halo. And that is being EXTREMELY basic. The only example I remember of her doing something like this is the big spiked ball that had tons of bomb paper on it. A real game changer would be learning the puppet strings jutsu basics. Even being able to use one could offset the weakness of her physical wire strategies. And this is before consideration of weapon quality/variety and better uses of them.

Best thing about the executioners sword is that you should never have to worry about sharpening it, if it's always covered in blood, it will never get chipped which is a huge deal for swords

Not that this is an in universe thing from what I’ve seen anyway, but the executioner’s sword being able to repair it’s self with others blood, would mean that it’s always sharp, and the edge would never dull so long as it’s being used for it’s intended purpose also means the blade has an infinite life because the iron comes back after every sharpening season (not saying it’s the best but irl that’d be pretty dang good)

What!!! The double handle ended Kunai didn't even get an honourable mention. So, the top barrel of the Chakra cannon is kind of like a Kamui gun. If I lived in the Naruto universe, with access to Ninjutsu and scientific ninja tools, space exploration would definitely be on the cards and many thins compared to irl would be easier. Not going to go in to the massive list of benefits. Tenten's summoning jutsu alone would have radical effects just saving weight. Propulsion, air, fuel, communication and more could be covered in some way by Ninjutsu! Sarudo: The next, next generation; where they go and take the fight in to space to the Otsutsuki home-world

I think not enough people gives Nuibari (the needle) the respect it deserve. Aside being useable as a super penetrating rapier, you can also sew dozens of enemies between each other, or use it as a giant senbon before injecting lightning or fire release in the cable, to electrocute or set ablaze the enemy. As for kiba i think that what set it appart is that the geometry + the lightning release makes it extremely sharp, and that the sword generate the lightning on its own without the need for the wielder to know raiton at all. Sure, a raiton user with a blade can achieve somehting similar, but likely not as optimized nor as balanced

The problem with ten ten ive said this so many times, but she has the fun case (similar to Sakura but on a way larger scale) where she is just not expanded enough, so she has so little to go off of, which means shes unbridled with possibilities and potential. What do we know of her Can learn how to any weapon she puts her hands on, Summoning expert, You can take that and run until you fall of the earth, she could literally have an arc where she finds every powerful weapon or tool, and use it, she could summon plentiful of animals, and if you didnt want to do much with her make her the resource pouch, have the favt that she can summon anything with her Kanji on it, and use that to her advantage let her carry supplies, medical potions, weapons for others and have her be support for everyone during the war he likes making women support characters why not use her as inventory, a valuable asset especially in war

I wouldn't overlook the healing property of the executioner's sword. - Real swords need to be flexible in order to avoid chipping. Means they can't be as rigid, so there are going to be more things that are too hard for it to properly CUT into. - Also an edge too sharp is simply going to get damaged the moment it touches anything, it'll chip, it'll suffer micro-fractures, deflections, bends, folds. Executioner's Sword would be able to be a sword tempered to the highest possible rigidity that steel can achieve, and honed to a ridiculously sharp cutting edge. - Sure, this would make it brittle, but that won't matter if it can heal through blood, because you won't be able to compound upon existing fractures. - Only thing that will be able to break it would be a single strike strong enough to shatter it all in one go, otherwise even if you were to crack 99% of the way through it, one slice through flesh and it will heal. And at a microscopic level it could act like a shark tooth sword, too. - Imagine shards of metal breaking off the edge of the blade as it impacts bone or armor, filling wounds up with shrapnel while the main cutting edge just regenerates and replaces that ridiculously sharp blade. - It pretty much becomes the only sword of the bunch that's genuinely indestructible, because no matter what comes upon the sword... you can just start cutting. It'll be back.
