I think the only thing you might've looked over was the role that each Clan in a hidden village plays. Sure "Clan Leader" isn't a shinobi rank, but they are still very influential people in their respective village. Like Konoha always walked a thin thight rope when it came to the Hyuuga and Uchiha, because they were so important within their village.

The daimyo (in the beginning of Boruto) seemed very supportive of the shinobi and a good friend of Naruto, and a lot more mature than his predecessor, so unless he's replaced he doesn't seem to be a problem for now :)

I thought the Daimyo were above the village elders in Naruto. Also, in Japanese history, the Daimyo were beneath the Shogun, at least on paper. The Shogun was the nominal ruler of the country and the Daimyo were the local feudal lords.

Nick, Mr. "I know everything about Naruto"--they allow Chuunin into the ANBU. You do NOT have to be a Jounin, minimum requirements to join the ANBU is simply being 13 or older and at least Chuunin rank. They say this info when they point out how young Itachi was to be joining the ANBU, directly stating the minimum age is 13...and as the rest of this video has already discussed, 13 is around the time Genin are looking to become Chuunin. Majority of ANBU's forces are Chuunin, they have a similar rank demographic as the entirety of the village--only a chunk of them are Jounin.

Hey bro, I have a "what-if" story for you. What if Sasuke never married Sakura but Sarada was the child of Karin and Sasuke. Karin died during childbirth, blessing Sarada with the Sharingan and Uzumaki chakra. As half Uzumaki, it would make her idolization of Naruto more genuine as he is her father's rival and half Uzumaki like her. The twist then becomes that Rock Lee married Sakura and their child is Metal Lee but Metal Lee is a girl so her name is Ruby Lee, who uses Rock Lee's taijustu with Sakura's chakra enhanced strength. But since Sasuke is never in the village, Sarada becomes the adopted child of Sakura and Rock Lee. Sarada serves as the genius child who had everything handed to her due to genetics, and Ruby Lee is the product of hard work reminiscent of the rivalry between Neji and Rock Lee. Thus, Ruby and Sarada push each other to greater heights

I've never understood why the strongest shinobi would become Hokage. It makes so much more sense to me for someone like Shikamaru to hold that position instead of Naruto. You don't make your strongest fighter the leader of the country just to have them sit in an office and sign papers or whatever. Shikamaru is more strategic and less focused on fighting, so he's better suited to be a leader than Naruto, who excels mainly in battles.

Good Video Nick with proper breakdown on the explanation of the Naruto World government structure. My biggest thought when listening to this was with the Gokage being strong as they are why did no kage ever just overthrow their Daimyo. Like he or she is the strongest shinobi in their country and they can just collect the taxes themselves. Specifically like in villages like the Sand where the people were struggling to make ends meet and Daimyo is off in their place in luxury I feel like would cause a rebellion at some point.
