I think there are only two reasons that Fox didn’t set for stun. 1) Fives clearly had the ability to dodge stun shots with ease as seen on Kamino, and from Fox’s perspective, Fives was an extremely well-trained Arc Trooper who managed to capture a Jedi and was waving a loaded gun around, so it might have been too dangerous of a situation to risk using stun. Commander Gree also didn’t use stun during a situation similar to Fox’s either. And for my third and final point on this example, stun shots aren’t exactly effective nor reliable. Remember when a couple of stormtroopers tried to stun Leia, and she killed one before the stun hit her? I imagine Fox didn’t want to risk the lives of Fives’ prisoners or his own men by using stun and Fives potentially dodging and returning fire (yes, I know Fives wouldn’t actually return fire, but the only people in the room who knew that was Anakin and Rex). 2) Chancellor Palpatine gave Fox and his men strict orders under the threat of Court Marshall to kill Fives if he does anything suspicious and or dangerous, such as pointing a loaded gun at a squad of military police.

Sadly i think in canon Fordo is Fox and Alfha is Rex. Have a lot of cool character and story in Star Wars but Disney ruind it and sadly a lot of Story is legend not canon.
