just so if anyone who does not play the game is aware. the "thanos skit" is just a silly skit to showcase the different attack and ability traits Magnamalo has(hence called "the Malice Montage") that are base off existing flagship monsters(I ruined the combo with Teostra). He does not go on a quest to "Absorb" powers from different monsters at all in the game. (tho that be cool if thats really a plot point in the game)

It really would, a sorta nemesis style enemy similar to how Nergigante worked in world. Though Nerg didn’t get stronger over time. But just imagine hunting all those monsters and having Magnamalo come in at the last moment, taking both the power of what you hunted, and the glory of the final blow. Also, gotta say this, that starting bit where you have Magnamolo directly show. “Yeah traps do work on me, just cause I look scary doesnt instantly mean I’m an elder dragon.” Perfect comedic timing and execution there.

the trap skit was base on personal experience, as you know I never follow the showcase/teasers capcom dropped before the game launches, so I was not aware its "not an elder dragon" and I had the mindset of "nah, not gonna use the trap to not make myself look silly that it does not work" when I first hunted it... so this was what made the skit (and also a callback to the nerg skit)
