You know rewatching this, the audio work is INSANE. Just realized every character has their own instruments and themes, just like in Peter and the Wolf, you can follow the story completely through audio alone! It's especially noticeable in the Third Episode.

i sadly grant you the title of most underrated animator on youtube. you do so much stuff and given how often animators upload, so quick too. it's clear how much work you put into your animations, and you should know that it's appreciated. I'm not even into monster hunter but i greatly enjoyed this series of videos cuz they were so well made and funne. here's to hoping you'll be recognized someday

That is a male, though. According to the official source, female Mizutsune have duller color and small fins. All the Mizutsune we hunt are males. Females are docile, so the Guild doesn't hunt them.

I gotta chuckle at the yin yang elements to Mitzy and Almu. Given they are supposed to be related species. Oh and for the Pokemon reference in the first episode, I'd say Mitzy and the Ludroth are pure water types while Tetradon is either a water grass or water fighting. Almu and Barroth are water ground or maybe ground fighting for the latter. And Jurya is probably a pure water.

Basically, mizutsune is mr. Clean as a fluffy salamander, while almudron is uhh….uhh….. *[INSERT CHARACTER WHO MAKES STUFF DIRTY INSTEAD OF CLEAN]* as an ugly swamp cat with a cobras hood thingy that is also a painter that uses mud instead of paint. Barroth is like robin but evil, dirty, and also incredibly weak, and also he can never beat an enemy no matter how weak they are, and batman is almudroth. Royal ludroth is like that one goofy and calm side character that does nothing at all, but the rare moments when he does do something he goes ultra instinct and acts like a god, and after he straight up obliterates an enemy he just pats them on the head. Jyuratodus is like that one super powerful character, that always protects the bad guys and always has an opposite version of him who protects the good guys. Tetranodon is literally just a very cool, strong, and obese kappa. That’s all.

Almudron: Is so messy that it's mere pressence dirties the area it's in. Mitzu: Is so clean that it's mere pressence cleans the area it's in. Violet Mitzu: *Commits Mass-Arson upon all in it's pressence and pollutes all water it touches.* Magma Almu: Melts everything in it's pressence because everyone complained about the mud making a mess so much. Barroth: Makes messes with his head and occasionally turns into *Barroth, the Mud Blade* when covered in a large quantity of mud. Jyura: Is so dirty that even soup isn't enough to clean him and can turn itself into a Mud Missile at will. Tetra: Is on par with Jyura in strength. (What? You expected more? Well, too bad, that's basically it.) Ludroth: Cleanses the world of filth and evil, standing firm against all who dare approach it like an unbreakable wall. A Monster who has achieved Inner Peace and Ultimate Power.
