I should point out that this room is available in 2 configurations. There is more inventory of the room shown in this video, but there are a few versions where the bathroom and master bedroom are reversed. I personally prefer the later, as in that configuration, there is a large sliding door that goes to the balcony - this is really nice to leave open at night to hear the ocean or just to be able to walk outside from the bedroom. Also, the bedroom is much bigger, but the tradeoff is the shower is quite small.

Are the Haven aft suites located on the opposite end of the Haven restaurant, lounge, pool, etc? If so, is it inconvenient to travel to/from?

Yes, on this class ship they are opposite of the Haven restaurant, lounge and pool. You walk most of the length of the ship but we did not mind because we enjoyed the configuration of this cabin and the space of the deck. We also liked being able to see port and starboard and did not mind the extra exercise. If someone has mobility challenges but really likes using the Haven facilities, this would not be a good option.

I booked room 9172 on the Jade and it is a long way from the Haven proper. It is a WCA room and I will have a Scootaround rental. I was told that even with a butler and concierge access the room does not allow use of the Haven.

I am booked on the Jade in March 2025 in an Aft-Facing Penthouse Suite with Large Balcony and I was told that it comes with a butler and concierge but no access to the Haven proper! Not sure how that works! Who gets a butler and concierge but no access to the Haven proper?

I believe that the heaven suites are the only cabins that get access to the haven but that there is another class of cabin called concierge level.

Thank you for posting. We will be in this exact cabin in a couple weeks. Are you able to look into the bathroom from the balcony or is the window tinted? Was there plenty of outlets in the room? Any USB ports?

You absolutely can see into the shower and the rest of the bathroom. There is a window in the shower and over the separate soaking tub. However, both windows have screens that come down and limit visibility. There's even a slightly frosted window between the water closet and the shower that lets in natural light but still maintains privacy. The potential of your next-door neighbors looking around the corner to see your deck is there, but for the most part, it is all very private. The best part about that cabin is having your butler bring breakfast and eating it outside on your wonderful deck. The negative is engine noise and vibration, but most seasoned cruisers enjoy the way it helps them sleep.

@@jkantrow Sorry, we don't know for sure. We don't recall ever seeing that on the daily cruise planner.

A WHITE HOT PARTY was changed to a GLOW PARTY. Some were triggered by the WHITE and not understanding that white hot is a flame thing not a race thing!

It depends on the port. If it's New Orleans, the line to get through security is long but it moves quickly. After that, the process is efficient as you will be ushered into the Haven section. It helps to be pre-checked in on the app, have your boarding pass barcode ready and have your documents ready to present. Bon voyage.
