We have been sailing NCL since 1997. Will be on the Breakaway in November and have been checking out videos as we usually do pre cruise. This was one of the better ones. Great job.

I did the nearly IDENTICAL itinerary on the Escape in November 2022 but in the opposite direction! I'll be on the Breakaway for a TA from Miami to Southampton this upcoming February!

I’ve been on the Breakaway three times, most recently on a 10-day Italy/Greece cruise last November. Make sure you catch the band in Syd Norman’s - absolutely fabulous, as well as Burn the Floor! Have a great time, I wish I was there! 🚢💜

Great video as always, Bram! We were on the very next sailing of this ship from Rome back in May 2023, 10-day Greek Islands cruise. So many good memories on the Breakaway. Sailing out of New York past the Statue of Liberty is also on our bucket list.

Hi Bram! Just an observation to share with you. Neither NCL nor MSC send any emails letting you know your upgrade bid was NOT accepted. This is frustrating. But, I think they hold off since they might like to keep their options open to the very last minute for revenue opportunities if people cancel at the last hour? I enjoy how your videos are done so differently. You’re right that it makes us feel like we’re there with you. Thank you for making that extra effort. :-)

Great as usual Bram. We have bid up a few times and only had success once. They only notify if your bid is accepted and they can notify you from 14 days to embarkation day, hence no info on unsuccessful bids...have a great cruise, after 24 with NCL I feel the need to experience another company.

Keep an eye on those Chocolate covered strawberries, some ships only give a platinum level 4 and others 6. I keep a picture of the perk that shows 6. I'm glad that your lady friend is so understanding of your poking fun about her eating one of those strawberries. LOL

Been on the Breakaway 4 times the first with a brother out of NYC, 2 of which were a B2B out of New Orleans in a Studio Cabin and once out of New Orleans with a brother for a 7 day Western Caribbean. Always enjoyed this ship. I'm told there are signs for Latitudes, CAS, and Haven, but I've only seen the Haven signs. Wish I could have seen one in your video.

@BRAMSEASTHEDAY as a person enters the terminal I am told there are signs guiding CAS, Latitudes, Haven and Suites to be checked in to their respective areas with expected treatment due to their Latitudes levels or stateroom level and I'm told that even casino players are handled differently because of their play and a Haven guests priority access as well as Platinum and above latitudes perks.

Bram I was born in Jersey City and could see the Statue of Liberty just about every day and even when I was a teen there were piers out from the shore at the Jersey City Bayonne line that we could swim out to the Liberty Island.

Thanks! I would recommend to try to make a list (scenario like) of what you want to cover. It can make things less overwhelming. I always catch myself filming things that don't matter while skipping on simple things. Details make a video a lot better. And when talking to the camera, imagine it's your best friend. Makes it more natural when you talk. Good luck and have fun doing it!

Hey Bram don't forget that when you are both Platinum NCL decided that you both do not deserve the Platinum 2 Specialty dinners for 2. One with a bottle of wine. So doing 11 cruises each to get to Platinum and NCL thinks we should be ok with one of the Platinum guests losing their achieved benefits. Can you say BREECH OF CONTRACT? We are losing that because too many accept the slight of hand and whatever crumbs, but what if we were to take a part of what the charged for the cruise and say it's my policy per cruise!
