NCL Dinner Buffet for 7 Night Cruise (Part 2 of 2)

Highlights from the cruise ship food shown here included Steak & Shrimp from Day 4, Oriental Spiced Duck on Day 5, Beef Brisket for Day 6, and Roasted Pork Leg with Crispy Crackling on Day 7.
Overall we quite enjoyed the wide selection and taste of the Garden Cafe dinner buffet offerings- kudos to the hard working kitchen crew for doing a great job.

2 comments number one when you were trying the duck that looks so Savory that I cannot wait until I finally get on a boat one day this year and I get to try that dish. Number two gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous earrings those are phenomenal an excellent piece. I watch this channel for the food your opinion and your jewelry. My dream is to sit on a stool in the corner of the ship’s bakery and watch how the excellent bakers turn out SO MANY BAKED GOODS. It’s amazing to me the variety and quality that comes out of those bakeries. Same goes for the regular food but the bakery is my dream…….👩🏼‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳👨🏼‍🍳

The duck looks so good. We didn't get to eat a full dinner meal at the buffet on our recent NCL Getaway cruise, but we did go some nights right before they take away the dinner items. We did try a few things that looked interesting. Some of the items they have were surprising good.

Omg, everything look so delicious! The giant woks of sautéed shrimp, and the steaks with fried onions on top were one of my favorites. My goodness, the roasted duck station looks amazing- I’ll probably go multiple trips for that!!!!😂🥰

The buffet looks nice but with all the specialty restaurants and main dining room how often does one actually eat in the buffet?

We'll almost always eat at the MDR, and as early as possible, and then later visit the buffet. If we do eat usually it's just more veggies & fruits, but if there are really good food we'll sample some of it.

I've been on Norwegian, Carnival, & R.C.C.L I'm a foodie what cruise line should I try next Holland America or M.S.C?

Since you're a foodie, Holland America certainly has much better food than MSC. If you're willing to pay for specialty dining, however, MSC has very good food in those restaurants.

They seem to give you only one small slice at the carvery, not enough for a meal. I wouldn't want 10 different things on my plate, but to choose what I wanted and get a decent serving. I think I would find the serving practices frustrating.

If they give a slice that's too small, you can ask for another slice no problem. You can always go back & get more too.

@@TravelTouristVideos AND OOOPS.. 3rd reason why.. If there are roller blinds or other blinds with a chain- or cord... i will play with it lol.. or ask the crew like a dumb "what are these used to?" Or "what is this?" AND if there are a LifeBoat "why are there blinds? Do people dont like the LifeBoats?"
