Next year I'll be on the Pearl and Jade. The Pearl was supposed to visit the ABC islands but they canceled Bonaire! Darn. For the Jade cruise it will be doing the Caribbean and then over to Colombia and through the Panama Canal. It was a cruise NCL canceled on us when it was coming the other way from Panama City. Hope this one doesn't get switched to a charter cruise on us! If you go on any more of the Jewel class ships I would love to see more videos of those cruises. Thanks

@@rgruenhaus That’s so frustrating when the cruise line changes an itinerary, or, worse yet, cancels a cruise! Hope everything goes well for you. A Panama Canal cruise is on our bucket list, but nothing booked yet. We will be on the NCL Spirit in February but I don’t think it’s a Jewel class ship.

@HikinukiWorldTour-pk8dd seems that the Spirit, the Sun, and the Star go to unusual places. They are getting pretty old and need to be replaced like the one that goes to Hawaii. I wouldn't go to Hawaii on NCL because there are no sea days and no casino time. Have a great time on the Spirit!

@ Thank you! Our trip on the Spirit visits Taipei,VietNam, Thailand, and Singapore. We chose the itinerary over the ship, and I agree, the older ships probably will not be around for too much longer. We’ve avoided Disney because of their ships not having casinos or drink packages 😂

@ Starts in New York for three days before cruise but part of then up into Canada across to Iceland then Europe and finishing in Athens with two nights part of cruise. It’s three back to back cruises.

I’m not a big fan of free style dining. I like the traditional dining with the big tables where you can meet people more easily. But NCL doesn’t give you an option.

@@phil00075 The thing I miss most about assigned dining is getting to develop a relationship with the wait staff. It was much more a part of the cruise experience when you were at the same table every night. We were able to request a table with the waitstaff we liked, but we also wanted to try the different main dining rooms - so it’s difficult to do both. Thanks for watching 😄
