I think this is pretty awesome. We are booked on the Prima in December. As far as game changers go, I still think the Medallion on princess is more of a game changer. You can order food and drinks pretty much anywhere and it’s delivered to you. No paper receipts to sign, can order drinks/snacks while playing trivia, on deck, in your room. Can order from specialty restaurants.

I'm a single mom that wants to cruise, and I think this kind of dinning would help out cruisers like me. I can order from the table while keeping my child out of trouble or keep them occupied and we still have basically buffet selection

That was very impressive. Not only from how quickly the food arrived but also the great variety of choices. This will cut down on food waste and is a much needed improvement on cleanliness found around buffets

Personally, I love that idea. I think it would cut down on waste and the folks who aren't quite so careful when they are selecting things from a buffet.

We’re on the Prima in 52 days and everything points to this being our new favorite ship. Indulge seems like perfect answer when you’re married to someone who does not eat Indian food, but you love it! I think this concept is phenomenal!

Tge prima is great as long as youMake your dinner reservation now. I highly suggest the hudsons. It's an included restaurant sit down dinner served elegantly. Most are dressed up if thats your kind of thing. I made seven reservations five to hudsons one to cagneys, one to uh I can't remember at this minute, dinner buffets are not my thing while I'm on vacation. Dinner at 6 then I didn't have to worry missing the night life, or being late coming back from an island. Also went to the indulge for lunch on sea days, but it was difficult to find a seat.

Unless things have changed since October... If you sit at the counter of any of those units.. ie Tamara, Nudulz (sp), The Garden.. You can only choose from those restaurants. Just be advised if you really wanted The Q but you sit at The Garden.. LOVE Indulge Food Hall. 🙂

We were on the Prima for 11 days in November. Indulge Food Hall was by far our favorite place to eat! The food was so good, fast, fresh, and super tasty. The Indian food was SO GOOD!

I just got off a 14 day cruise on the NCL Dawn. The cuts everywhere including food quality and quantity is bad. We are Ambassadors so have been on many dozens of cruises with NCL. The Prima is their newest ship so the cuts are probably being spared right now. They are coming. Sail on an older NCL ship and you will be shocked. We are strongly considering changing cruise lines the cuts are so bad.

Carnival's quality has suffered. They also didn't have as much fish and shrimp as they had pre-covid. We understand everybody has been hit terribly with shrinkflation.

Love the place, the food and the unlimited amount of things you can try. The only drawback is having to get your own place to sit, when we went it took close to 20 minutes and countless trips walking around the hall to finally find a table.

Wow been cruising since 1972 and i love this innovation. I say it would enhance my cruise experience. I don’t have to weave my way through a buffet line and I don’t have to go sit some place more formal. Is a quick get and the food looks good🚢😊

I really enjoyed the Indulge Food Hall... I also liked that the portions were on the small side so you could choose to order a variety of items or multiple of your favorites. It was very quick every time I was there - would love to see it on more ships!

The food was good there. However, speed varies depending on how busy they are. We experienced not getting some of what we ordered. Getting alcohol was also a hassle here. Side note. The full menu is available at every table but not at the bars in front of the individual eating spots. Those menus are limited to where u are sitting

Really enjoyed the food at Indulge. I still think Virgin has the best “included” food at sea, but this was the quickest, tastiest options on the Prima for sure.

The Indulge is THE real deal! We loved it when we were on board the Prima in February! And you're right, the time from order to food arriving at the table is incredible!! Only little caveat(but only one), if you sit at one of the food stations the tablet will only have selections for THAT station..You can also get soda for free here as well, no need for a beverage package, just ask your server and they will bring you a cup with your soda from the fountain..We especially loved the lamb, it was PERFECT! Also, during hours Indulge is closed(between lunch and dinner) Coco's will often have cookies available for free..

Apparently it's pretty common for servers to not bother to ring up sodas. That's probably why you weren't charged rather than an official policy.

You were lucky you managed to eat at Indulge... sailing the Prima in January (ship was at 110%) getting a table was near impossible from opening to closing... on our 7 days cruise I managed to sit down once (not for lack of trying! Even The Local had an average 45 min to an hour wait). The one time we managed to sit at Indulge (2pm after a nearly 1 hour prowl) the food was indeed delicious.

We were on the Prima mid January. Got to eat at Indulge one time. Food was fantastic. Would have liked to eat there more often, but the seating area is too small. We had to circle around along with many others looking for a table. Reminded me of looking for a parking spot when the lot is full.

It's an interesting concept. I can see a lot of positives for it. One of the biggest is what happened recently on that one ship where that stomach flu got around and so many people got sick. Another is of course how crazy it is trying to get food in the crowded buffets and such. I'm 6.5 and I've been almost knocked down a couple times from a few people trying to get to the food. And more. The one major downside I see to this is that that's a lot more work for the crew if you think about it with already the hard work they do already.

To me it would seem to be a lot better. More choices from one place quick service. I have only one question that being handicapped and on a scooter is there plenty of options to make it easy for me and the scooter.

They a significantly smaller version of this (just three outlets) and it works. It allows set things to be done well on a repeatable basis so you probably get better quality for cheaper cost and everyone wins.

With NCL doing the Indulge Food Hall to save having staff for "service" it's surprising that they don't do E-Muster. I mean the principal is the same really. They still have to have folks who are being the "runners" to get the food out. Reference to old school Ponderosa/Bonanza style service. No idea if they have anything like that currently as we don't eat out.

Went for dinner once, but had breakfast there six days! Easy to walk around and pick up different items. So less crowded than the buffet. Loved all the outside seating. Indulge is a beautiful place!

I just returned from a cruise on the Prima. I loved the food options! It was so much easier to pick food and eat whatever I wanted. I loved the menus and it felt like I was going out to dinner every night…the specialty restaurants were amazing!

Anything that elevates the quality of cruise food is welcome as far as I’m concerned bc that was my major disappointment on both Celebrity Millennium and Ruby Princess this year. So my focus will be on food quality for my next cruise maybe it will be NCL Prima, thanks!

I enjoyed it. Discovered bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese - totally awesome. Had that at lunch several times during the week I was on the Prima. Everything I ordered was very good and delivered quickly. I ate there alone as my friends aren't adventurous. Had no problem finding a seat for one - just asked people if they would mind if I sat there & all said no problem!

Hey hey hey Tony! I was on this same cruise! I passed by Improv at the Sea and heard your voice during your private event! But never go the chance to bump into you. Indulge Food Hall has to be one of the highlights on the PRIMA. We ate there many times when we didn’t want to eat at the MDR since the menu stays the same.

So much better especially for folks that have mobility issues. I have traveled with large parties with one that has mobility issues then someone had to go get their food then go back fight the crowd for their own. Then they are behind in finishing their meal. This is a real advancement.

Really loving the concept and can't wait to try it. Only apprehension I have is that it doesn't look like a lot of total seating, in combination with no one showing you to an open table or reserving, so busy times might be tough. Or do I worry too much?

Spent 25 nights on the Prima since halloween. The Indulge was great and was the best at dinner. We had 9 dinners there over our 25 nights. The food options at dinner are better than at lunch and the place is less crowded as well. At lunch, the only options on the ship every day are buffet, Indulge or the Local. Hudson's is available for sit down on sea days and embarkation day. Since there are many more options at dinnertime, the cruisers are spread out and less people go to Indulge. We never had to wait for a table at dinnertime, yet the place was a zoo at lunch. Great options are the grilled pineapple, the tenderloin and the sachetti pasta purses and the gnocchi with pesto sauce.

I love it!! I wish every cruise ship offered this option. I can see where they could also add specialty restaurant items that you could try a la carte for a charge, but not have to pay a larger cover charge to eat an entire meal in the specialty restaurant. My husband uses a rollator walker now, so this would be such a help to him and others with mobility issues. ❤

We had the experience using a tablet to complete our order at Houston airport. It was nice and fast. It gives you a lot of options.

Indulge was our favorite spot to eat when we were on Prima last fall (and that includes trying 4 different specialty restaurants, which were also excellent). SOOO cool and the food is FANTASTIC!! It really does seem like you get the best of both worlds with the selection of a buffet, but freshly prepped and plated food that is brought to your table. Also, the bars at the back of the ship have the best beer selection on Prima. Only downside is that they both close relatively early.

Looks great. I’m curious about allergens. I caught a mention on one screen but anticipated that that would be more prominent in the order process. I have celiac disease: isolated prep areas, rigorous protocols, prevention of cross-contamination are all essential. I’m hoping you or one of your followers can speak to that. Theoretically this venue could deal with allergens more effectively. But it could also create added hazards.

I also live in the midwest so getting to a port is also sometimes a hassle and adds more to the cost of the whole trip. The more I watch your videos the more I'm wanting to go caaruuusing.
