@@hsjemal7549 We had a HESI live review (similar to hurst) and then I only used UWORLD. You need the knowledge and you need UWORLD to help you learn how to answer the questions.

Im only half way through your video and I'm getting major anxiety remembering my exam from this past june! I passed with 75 questions which was amazing because I've always been a horrible test taker.... so you can imagine my panic. It was the worst hour drive home and I couldn't eat for the rest of the day. The aticipation sucked! But loading the webage at 4am with my name followed by "RN" was the BEST feeling!

Also I took my exam at 2pm and i wouldnt have wanted to take it in the morning becayse a) i wouldnt have been able to eat because i would have been too nauseous and b) i would have had to wait longer for my results!

In Quebec, our licensing exam is 6 hrs long in a huge conference room with like 400 other students and it’s hand written. They just changed it this year to multiple choice but it’s still filled in by hand and 6 hrs. Oh, and you don’t get your results for 2 mths because they correct it by hand.

When I took the NCLEX it cut off at 75. I remember calling my dad convinced I had failed. He told me if we went off every time I thought I had failed a test I would have failed out the first semester. I also took the exam the day before my interview and I remember waking up the next morning and waiting for my results when my instructor called and told me I had passed. I have faith that you passed. Just keep breathing and keep your mind occupied until you get your results.

I take it in 2 days, 18 hours and 35 minutes 😬 super nervous ! I purchase the ones with assessment but I’m performing about average according to the percentile scores

Nursing is one of the hardest professions out there but it is hands down the most rewarding job on this earth. You will have days that will test you and moments where you doubt yourself...keep pushing forward. Each experience makes you stronger and better to serve your patients. I can tell you that they could pay me the worst amount of money and I would 100% still be a pediatric nurse. For me there is no greater privilege than caring for others. You got the right stuff and I know you will do amazing ❤️

I was a stream 2 student during Nursing college, so when I started my job I was really hungry for work 😂 I studied for 8 years first as a biology teacher and then to become a nurse. I never had a break from studying which is something I kinda miss right now but work is the best and being a nurse is the best of the best. I wish you a bright future and all of the success.

I’ve been a silent watcher, I finally subscribed! I was just so used to seeing your videos in my recommend It surprised me that you chose med-surg for a job after watching you for so long. It is logical though. I start my RN residency February 11th on a neuro unit. Not my first choice, not even a choice I had in mind but I’m so excited because the unit seems awesome. I’ll take my Nclex next week and it’s nerve wracking knowing if I fail it, I will probably lose this job (unless they allow me in the June cohort) I’ve been using world mostly uworld, a little of nclex mastery and a little of the Saunders textbook questions

Haha well welcome! I practiced a lot of uworld questions and read the rationale whether they were right or wrong. It really helped me understand why they were the correct answer and helped me on nclex.

I have been a nurse for 15 years and have my bsn also, while there are ups and downs with all professions I can honestly say I love being a nurse and being a part of a profession I’m proud of. I’m a postpartum nurse and have been for 13years. Like you I did my capstone in PICU and my first two years as nurse in med surge. I can tell you I’m happy I have that background. I’m sure you did awesome, I’ve been following your school journey and you have done well! I had 75 questions in 1 hour and knew I passed. Until I spoke to a friend that failed with 75. Good news I passed and I knew when I left the test. If you feel confident going out of it you’re golden! Btw I’m in NY.

200 plus a 75 question practice exam. I should have done more, but what was super important was the fact that I read every single rationale whether I got it right or wrong which helped me understand the correct answer and why it was correct.

For a peace of mind, I think you will pass. Think about this, the testing company wants you to pass. Your university wants you to pass. Your new workplace wants you to pass. If you don’t pass, which is extremely unlikely, don’t forget that it’s not about you entirely. Universities, workplaces, and testing companies need their students/employees to pass. They want to see you succeed and they want to employ you. They are not out to get you bad. Congratulations getting this far. Can’t wait to see your reaction video. You will pass!

I graduated on a Friday, got my ATT on Monday, scheduled that week. Took the exam 3 weeks to the day after graduation. I would have taken it sooner, but the with the holidays there weren't any exam dates.
