Surprising to see the Brotherhood and the NCR get along so well.

Yeah they had chapters even in the heart of the NCR, shady sands. It didn’t help the NCR is like the old world government as you get to see how the NCR grows and handles things in fo2 and foNV. With Helios 1 being a actual satellite dish for a hammer of dawn(gears of war). Which in the hands of the NCR would be catastrophic as they would be no better than Cesars legion the only difference is that the NCR wipes out tribals they don’t integrate them.

I can see them coming together for an op like this. Both the NCR and BOS aren't stupid enough to think they can take on all the capital wasteland throws (Talon, Mutants, Enclave, and more) at them AND an additional army that is as capable as them if not more so. Plus if the courier could make them get along back west where their fued was a lot closer and more prevelent in peoples minds, than im sure the eastern chapter which has proven to be a bit more lenient would be able to cooperate and come to terms

Well, they're not the West Coast brotherhood with the strict rules. It's Lyons chapter who, instead of following the old ways, tried to lend a hand for the capital wasteland.

The only problem I see is that The Brotherhood Helping the NCR and the outcast coming back so easily. Elder Lyons knows what happened with the war against the NCR vs the brotherhood. He wouldn't trust them at all.

I think Elder Lyons would see benefit in working with the NCR. The West Coast Brotherhood pretty much started the war with the NCR due to their uncompromising views on using technology, Lyons’ chapter would know better not to go down that path. The Outcasts definitely would oppose the NCR though

Seeing the NCR-led coalition grow and become this motley of different NPCs going into the battles against the Enclave was really interesting. It provides surprising variety to the standard NPC battle between two sides. And one has to love that twist after the Enclave defeat.

Wonderful job. There were so many cool little moments that stood out there. The best part to me was taking out Evergreen Mills. There were so many awesome moments, especially with the NCR Veteran Ranger like at Evergreen Mills but also his showdown with multiple mutants at Big Town... or that NCR Trooper with the SMG leading the way across the Capitol trenches. This is my vision of NCR. They expand to other states but with diplomacy without be agresive imperialist like The Legion and The Enclave. See the other factions like BOS Lyons, Regulators, Reily Ranger, Outcast and Rive city working together. This what they should be with all good factions being one. For create a new future for the people of the wasteland to live in a better place. And the NCR can offer that. If just need compent leaders. People try to argue NCR arent the good guys on Fallout lore and Caesar Legion are gray faction and an "alternative" but in the reality the Legion are really evil just below of The Enclave. Sure NCR have their cons but have much pros than Legion. I love this video I was waiting to see this.

These are my favorite videos from this channel, where the environments and characters already present in the game are paired with a new narrative. The NCR building alliances, gathering information, and dealing with challenges that I as a player have contended with is such a cool story. I love the challenge videos like "How many ___" too, but these are always A+ knockouts. I especially liked that the leader was a real badass here, doin espionage, passing speech checks and shit.

Much as it's cool to see the NCR in the capital wasteland at the same time lore wise it's understandable why they never bothered. I mean even compared to the Mojhave the Capital Wasteland is it's own special kind of hell. Other than Megaton and Rivet City most of DC is a blasted hellhole full of thousands of Super Mutants and extreme radiation in which nothing grows, and then if you try going underground in the train tunnels to escape that you're just going to be swarmed by hoards of Feral Ghouls. There's pretty much nothing of any real value for the NCR to take in the Capital Wasteland well other than the purifier and even then.. Vegas has clean water. Most of the Mohjave has clean water. I doubt the NCR would want to start a war with the East Coast BOS over technology they already have

The only thing I don't like about TTW is the amount of custom/cut content included. I'm ok with some it, at least enough to bridge the gap between the two games like Columbus Circle/Union Station, the ability to aim down the sights of various Fo3 weapons, interchangeable ammo types for said weapons et cetera. You really want the bare minimum of tweaks and changes so as to eliminate any possible inconsistencies while keeping things as vanilla as possible, leaving it up to the modding community to create TTW friendly mods. While TTW in its current state doesn't go overboard with it, not at all, I consider additions like Talon combat armor mk 2, energy weapon optics and most cut content to be unnecessary and better left as an optional patch or togglable esm/esp.

@@xWandering_Spiritx maybe to keep it just one plugin, they could give the possibility to disable the content you said in MCM, this way it's less of a headache in the load order and you can still choose things you want to customize. Honestly what I think is really missing are Fallout 1 and 2 Remade as TTW DLCs. My idea would to be make them "in-game memories" the quest would start when you find a book narrating the events (there would be 2 one for FO1 and one for F02) a animation of our character opening and reading the book would cover the loading screen and let you play the old stories and after you've completed both of them a group of explorers would show up in goodsprings, if you talk to them they start telling you about their planned travel to find the old locations of FO1 and FO2 and if you join them in their travel you'd get to visit these locations but after new Vegas got completed, in order to choose the location you want to go to a Travel map like the one in FO1 and FO2 would show up once you reach the borders of new Vegas' map and also another map section in your pipboy

@@xWandering_Spiritx i knew about a new Vegas mod to bring back fallout 1 into the game but it's dead, I'll check out the fallout 4 mod, well, it's cool that some people do this, but I'd like to have them as TTW DLCs so that we have a four-in one game + DLCs, but it's fine anyway. I've honestly tried almost fallout games, I have finished fallout 2 and 1, they're definitely my favorites for some aspects, I love their aesthetics and art style, about new Vegas I like the rpg mechanics, weapons and other things, about fallout 3 I like the map very much, but I think fallout 3's story is not that good, about fallout 4 I mostly like the gunplay and the ability to modify equipment

Too bad this isnt what happened in the DC wasteland. It would have been even better in F3 had the former vault dweller was more of an small third wheel to the BoS/NCR that just happened to help like anyone else, rather than a necessary main player in fighting the Enclave. Also, it to would have been interesting if second alternate playthrough as someone raised with the Enclave. Great story, btw. :)

That's probably what would have happened. But if they were smart (but of course, they're led by politicians so they wouldn't be) instead of demanding water from them they'd get a copy of the blueprints to make purifiers of their own instead. The NCR (back home at least) has the resources to build them so that would be of far greater value (not to mention less risk of pissing the BOS off again) than just the one already-established building.

I created an rp in my fallout3/nv/4 play through which was years doing it. I basically came up with a world where the BoS and NCR were in constant conflicts. In NV I played a NCR trooper fighting in the legion war and also fighting BoS troops until Fallout Dust then I play BoS wiping out any NCR in sight while collecting whatever tech left and leaving with the surviving chapter and regrouping to the main chapter to inform the head elder. Since the fall of Vegas the NCR made plans to push east until fallout 3 after a rough annexation of The Pitt and many other states to fill the void Vegas left, using conscripts and those forcefully drafted in the annex lands to keep up numbers the NCR sent forces in DC achieving Kimball’s manifest destiny to see the NCR reach one end of the nation to the other until the NCR realized the BoS have somehow beat them to it and worse yet have just beat the enclave and were salvaging tech. A full out war was set in the outskirts of dc with key locations getting bombed by BoS and NCR alike until the NCR are given knowledge of liberty prom’s absence then DC everywhere was a war zone or no man’s land. The hard won victory for DC was the Brotherhood but during that time elder lyons passed away leaving her daughter she sacrificed herself by sending all the remaining enclave mussels down in her location in the trenches infront of the Washington monument. For some time with back and forth fighting the NCR and Brotherhood are now in Boston after the NCR found Boston they established a loose government of farm owners and mayors, it never helped with Boston stability but was a step in the direction until the BoS come in via Prydwyn and all our war has started. The NCR loose Kimball’s term will come to a abrupt end as he is indicted the brotherhood loose they will be crippled for years to come east and west with the fall of Arthur Maxon and the end of the Maxon line. I play BoS in my stories mostly

The bit where the NCR doesn’t know about the Enclave is not true, in fact, the Enclave had specially made unit devoted to specific tasks, each unit had their own flamethrower unit, two heavies, five rifle users of any kind, and one demo expert. This means they all didn’t where the same armour in each unit. It is also said the Hellfire and the other two armour sets were used, but they were at the prototype stage. Not only that, the NCR would have killed the BoS the first chance they got since they’re enemies. Although, you need to dig deep into the lore, it is easy to miss these things even with digging to bedrock in the lore.

This is a separate branch of the enclave I think the enclave in NV uses the ruminate the gen 1 version of the armor back during Fallout 2. This is an upgraded lighter more maneuverable version of the armor they are using it’s Gen II which is less bulky better for less experience soldiers. Kind of like how the T45 is more bulky and less agile the then T51.

The East Coast BOS might not have intel about the war. The outcasts should have that intel. Despite both those points they're wary of attacking anyone near their ballpark. They only fought the enclave due to a specific concern otherwise they'd have ignored them despite the fighting in the past.
