for 127, after getting into some of their title tracks, they have a WIDE discography, and their b-sides are amazing. from r&b to club music, they all are so good. for example, “Skyscraper”, “Back 2 U”, “Parade” and etc.

Welcome! NCT 127 is my absolute favorite Kpop group, and it’s always fun watching someone discover them. They started with 7 members in 2016, then added 2 in 2017, and added another in 2018 while an original member (named Winwin) was then moved to their Chinese subunit. “Firetruck” was the group’s debut single, “Cherry Bomb” was released a year later, and “Fact Check” came out last year. I love how quirky and aggressive their sound is; it never seems dated to me. (I’ll put debut years after their names.) You guessed right: Mark (2016) leads off “Fact Check,” then it’s Taeyong (2016, leader of the whole NCT group), and that’s Johnny (2017) with the mesh shirt (as you watch more music videos you’ll notice that Johnny is practically overdressed here 😂). The handsome, deeper-voiced gent is Jaehyun (2016), and then the reddish-brown haired one is, yes, Haechan (2016). Like Mark, he is in Dream. After him, and the one who made you pause more than once, is Doyoung (2017), one of the best vocalists in all of Kpop. Eventually, during the chorus you see that gorgeous redhead: His name is Yuta (2016), and he’s from Osaka, Japan. Before him, seated in what looks to be a helicopter is Taeil (2016, the oldest member of the group). Also one of the best vocalists around, he was injured in a traffic accident and couldn’t dance, but managed to participate. Jungwoo (2018) finishes the first chorus. Like nearly everyone else, I would recommend that you check out their Killing Voice; it’s a great sample of singles and B-sides, and they’re a really fun group to watch. I also love their dance practices. There are so many to choose from, but the 2 for “Cherry Bomb” are excellent. There’s a “Cherry” version, which is more like a performance vid, and a “Bomb” version, which is shot more like a dance practice (I prefer the “Bomb” version). Enjoy!

Enjoyed the reaction! NCT is one of the groups that got me back into kpop in 2016 (they debuted most of their units that year) after a long break and I love them like my own nephews. I hope you have a great time discovering all that they can do. Oh, and tiny bit of trivia: when reacting to groups from SM Entertainment (groups from SM also include EXO, Shinee, Girls Generation, SuperJunior, Red Velvet, Aespa, Riize etc) they won't generally have subtitles on MVs until after 2018. Up until 2019 we always looked up translations later :)

NCT is like a big brand that has some unit, 1. Nct 127 (127 is longitude of Seoul, South Korea), there are 9 members, u can say this unit is the senior cause they are the first fix unit that debut and for the most part of the oldest member are in this unit. 2. Nct Dream (why dream, cause they debut just a month apart from nct 127 with an average age of 14 or 15 years, so their goal or motto is to give the fan dreams and hope) there are 7 members where 2 members are also part of NCT 127 (Mark and Haechan). 3. Wayv (Short for We Are Your Vision) This unit is based in China, previously there were 7 members but now only 6. They can all speak fluent Korean and Chinese, most of them also fluent in English, trilingual(and more) u can say. 4. Nct dojaejung ( short for Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo) this unit only have 3 members that also part of Nct 127. 5. Nct U (the U stand for united) this unit dont have a fix member, cause every songs from this unit has different members, members selected based on suitability with the concept of the song. so every member in each unit has the opportunity to collaborate in this unit. 6. Nct new team (the last unit of nct, doesn't have a fixed name yet because they will officially debut in this year, 2024) Making them the youngest unit and members of the whole NCT. 🥳💚💚💚 (Their fandom is NCTzen or Sijeuni, sijeuni is like another term of nctzen that korean fans usually use)

‼️ LONG COMMENT WARNING‼️ there’s 6 units now, 26 members in total and luckily u don’t have to worry about any more bc they’re done adding new members: nct u, 127, dream, wayv, dojaejung and wish members + additional info: u- no set members, anyone can be in it, usually every song has a different lineup but there are some iconic ones that reunite like the 7th sense unit with baggy jeans 127- (oldest to youngest) taeil, johnny, taeyong, yuta, doyoung, jaehyun, jungwoo, mark, haechan dream- mark, renjun, jeno, haechan, jaemin, chenle, jisung; ok im gonna combine both 127 and dream bc u will see a fluctuating number of members in mvs throughout the years but just know everyone i stated are the permanent current members, they both focus in korea, 127 is known for their experimental music and dream for their more youthful concept wayv- kun, ten, winwin, xiaojun, hendery, yangyang; chinese unit, they do some darker music i would say (at least their title tracks) djj- doyoung, jaehyun, jungwoo; yes they’re all apart of 127 yes they’re also a separate fixed unit they are a grown sexy unit that focuses on rnb highly recommend they’re perfume album wish- sion, riku, yushi, jaehee, ryo, sakuya; japanese unit, they were formed through a survival program and are the most recently formed team like they just announced the name yesterday! they have one song out but haven’t officially debuted yet i suggest u start one unit at a time (127 was a good starting point) so u don’t get overwhelmed and just know u don’t have to force yourself to like every unit just bc they fall under the nct umbrella and lastly the members who left- sungchan and shotaro joined in 2020 and never got a unit :(( but they’re now in sm’s newest bg riize :) i hope this helps somehow
