For me it's like kick it , it's a grower, the more I listen to it the more like it . It is set up like a Old Video game , the styling of the title and band name at the beginning, the intro music with heavy synth, the presentation of each player at the end , the lights somehow creating the impression of them being on a boxing ring. It also feels like the raping sequences are so different from the vocal parts , that it is almost like a fight between the 2.

at first I was expecting like these big transitions or explosions of music, like other songs, but this has it's own feel, it has a very distinct flow and rhythm and I love that, it makes it stand out from other songs and is quite experimental and unique, the more I listened the more I love it.

NCT songs are very different and they have that sound if you listen to their songs you'll know what im talking about. Most of their music is experimental but thats what makes them different honestly ahead of their time. Their music not for everyone, but if you give them a chance their songs will grow on you. I personally am very open to different to all music types, and at first couldn't remember this song because of all the different parts but thats what made it so cool! I hope you all give NCT a chance, you won't regret it!

Like what he said Punch doesn't have a dominant melody except for "eeey we ballin", (which is the only line we remember) but after streaming the mv nonstop, i finally remembered it. The choreo and listening to the audio alone helped, i also watched a piano cover and it's amazing
