LOL us I-army's would sing the song along without knowing the actual meaning. But we do read the eng translations for the actual meaning of the songs. And the BTS members actual names are not that weird or hard to pronounce. BTW I can't exactly remember but this performance video got a lot negative criticism from army. Not because of BTS's performance, cause come on they did amazing . But it was because the camera man kept on showing the audience and not much of performance. Also I'm not 100% sure but some of the audience in the video who were enjoying it and seemed like armys, but apparently weren't actual army's. They were actors that got paid by AMA to behave like an army or a fan for them to record. They didn't show actual army's who were there, cause come on who else were singing all the fan chants. But as I said I'm not fully sure and can't exactly remember the situation since this video is from 2017. You can look it up on google, twitter or the Korean searching place. I'm sure there will be something about it. Anyways I enjoyed your reaction!!!

Omg I was actually at this performance and the fanchants were so loud, the reactions of the locals were so shocked and confused LOL. Everyone was standing so they all stood too. I practiced the fanchant like everyday until the performance date lol. Awesome reaction 👍💕

I think Korean is a beautiful language, not sure if it's because our daily exposure to BTS, but for me, it just makes me feel "closer" to the music to sing along in Korean. My daughter is fluent, but she lives in Sinchon. I'm learning. I was proud American ARMY repped us so well at the award shows. love your videos David!!

Thanks David for this reaction. I agree with you that you are so proud as Korean about BTS spreading Korean culture to the whole world. It must be a good feeling. This was the first video I saw in knowing BTS. I heard of them when DNA was released back in September 2017, but their performance in AMAs was one of the highlight of knowing them and eventually becoming an ARMY.

This may not seem significant but I remember one of the boys saying, during the Wings Tour in Manila, they could hear the audience singing with them the whole time. You can check some fancams on that. So yes---fans know the lyrics by heart. BY HEART.
