I was at the interview (literally the girl with red hair) and I think it took all of us a second to process what the host was saying in the beginning cause NCT hadn’t come out yet so we (or at least me) were all really nervous to see them in person and kept looking to the back where they come out instead of the front LOL I swear I thought I was gonna throw up. Also, the reason we’re not loud throughout either is because we were instructed not to yell, touch, etc. We even had to turn our phones off in front of the security before going in so everything was handled very strictly, but understandably. It’s also just more respectful to be calm and welcoming rather than too crazy and in their face anyway if I’m being honest, you know? Anyway I wanna fuckin die as I’m rewatching this I love them so much they are the softest human beings in the world bye

i don't know why people are saying the crowd didn't deserve to be there/weren't loud enough. i was in the audience and if you look in the bottom right corner of the screen you could see that my facial expressions were constantly changing! i was cheering so loud and we all cheered super loud but often times the mics were too low/far away for it to come up on the audio! also the people outside were allowed to scream louder bc they weren't in a room with nct not trying to blow their ears off. the security told us before that we're not allowed to stand or be super crazy bc the safety of the talent was paramount. if the crowd was screaming as insanely and jumping as insanely as the people outside the security would have a full right to believe the safety of the talent was in danger and could stop event. don't hate on us for not cheering, we are cheering as loud as we really could, but please remember there is an element of control needed in a room where you are literally inches away from an idol you love and cherish so much. we were super excited and at multiple points in the show i legit had to stop and take a breather to remember that this was real and was happening. im so appreciative of this opportunity and will cherish this day forever. we gave nct so much love and they kept laughing with us so much. my friends and i sat right in front of them and we made sure to cheer for nct as much as we could. we knew we had a big role to play as we were right in front of them! please don't look down upon the crowd inside! the energy in there was so full of love and positivity and nct felt that too!
