I don't know why other reactors said Déjà Vu was their least fave on the NCT Resonance album but for me it was one of my faves in the album. Btw, the producer of this song was Moonshine, the duo behind Peek-A-Boo & Power Up (Red Velvet), Dance the Night Away (Twice), Ridin' (NCT Dream), Turn Back Time and (WayV) and SuperM (Infinity) (i know there are still songs produced by them but idk anymore 😅)

if you want to know more about JAEMIN (Na Jaemin; nickname: NANA): he was scouted by SM while doing volunteer work (which he is now known for) and debuted with Chewing Gum. but he had a back injury which caused his hiatus during We Young era. he returned with dream for We Go Up era and is now NCT Dream's visual and center! He is an excellent dancer and rapper (and underrated vocalist) and even writes his own raps! he doesn't have a lot of solo content, but he is the first NCT member to debut as an actor with his mini drama "How to Dislike You" or "The Way I Hate You" that he won best actor for!! in my opinion, jaemin is a pillar member of NCT and reminds me a lot of taeyong!! he has a lot of potential if SM will give him more opportunities to showcase his talents :)

Also Renjun (who you picked out as someone who might be trying to get on Doyoung's level) is really interesting. He entered SM as a dancer, but debuted as a lead vocalist (chenle and haechan were the mains) after less than a year of training. however, he's steadily improved the most over the past five years and has worked his way into being a main vocal and lead dancer, as well as one of their "centers". he's my favourite because his vocal colour is so nice and he has a surprisingly huge range (he covers haechan's parts when he's with 127 with EASE). for more of his vocals I would highly recommend more of Dream's bsides!

Do you know that sometimes people audtion for dancing not because they want to be a dancer but because when audition begins you can always see how much people in your group is in given category so when you pick the one when there is the least people it might be easier to be accepted since there is less competition. And then when you go further you can show your other skills like singing.It’s a good strategy. It makes me wonder what Renjun truly wanted to be when he auditioned.

i mean no disrespect when i say this , but i disagree about him one the "centers". has his vocals imrproved, yes, by leaps, and bound to the point where i dont have a favourite vocalist in dream cuz they're all too good. is his dancing good, yes, hes a great dancer. im not sure if you'll agree with me on this but i feel that SM pushes Mark, Haechan, and the J line more as the dancers more as "centers" than the others. but thats just my opinion. once again no disrespect

Dream was the most underrated unit for a while until they came out with the Boom album, which was fire through and through. because they're the youngest a lot of people underestimate them but they have some of the best songs, performers, and stage presence in NCT. Originally Mark got most of the spotlight (as he should, he's incredibly talented and writes his lyrics and stuff!)/ was the most musically matured but once he "graduated" temporarily (and came back a year later) the other members got some more shine and chances to grow, which is very well deserved, they're all extremely talented. @@pt-zk9ze im not discrediting him at all? its a known fact that mark got a lot of shine in nct dream and rightfully so because as you said he wrote his own lyrics and rapped and sang very well. i was saying that a lot of the fandom didn't even acknowledge the other dreamies because they didn't get as much time to show off their stuff. a lot of people didn't even know that jisung could sing or that jeno/jaemin could rap really well until sm gave them more chances when mark left. obviously they are complete as 7 and mark 100% deserves every opportunity because he's amazing, its just a fact that the others got more chances. hope that makes sense, sorry if it seemed like I was dragging mark, he's one of my ults.

Mark is fast too but not always since he is such a perfectionist and always tries to improve something or add another flavour to his verses. One of the producers even said that he is his favourite to work with among NCT and that Mark tends to redo his parts even when it sounds perfect to him(producer)already.

That's why we always said when we recommend nct dream from their early days in order from their early days is to watch how them growth not only phisycally but musically and concept wise Actually they started stronger and more charismatic concept since 2019 when Boom released (you should checked this out) since 4 of them become adult. This song released after Don't Need Your Love (feat HRVY) And on early 2020 before Resonance, they released Ridin which is way have powerful and stronger concept. Because only Jisung the youngest who were minor. Lol regarding Renjun choosing you (and being on Doyoung’s level); I saw a reddit post about this the other that. Those two really tend to creep up on you, although it may take a little bit for it to happen. Dream is an incredibly special group of performers, especially when you see them live together on stage. They perform so seamlessly together (unsurprising since they have been working together since they were literal children). I love this track (you should take a look at the live stage they did as part of NCT World show last year: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpLbhIFmis-nqNE ) It's actually quite emotional for me to listen to as the lyrics are all about the joy of being back together as the full team of 7Dream and enjoying performing on stage.
