Nct is one of the biggest Kpop groups currently. They currently have 23 members from all over the world (Canada, America, Thailand, Germany, Taiwan, China, Japan, and Korea) devided into 4 sub units. Nct Dream: The children basically, everyone in this unit is 20 or under. there's plenty of concepts, genres, dancing styles, groups (big and small groups, co-ed groups, duets, sub-units, solo artists) in kpop so you can always find something to your liking, and there's so many groups that release a lot of music... usually groups do 2-3 comebacks per year (they promote a single, and have an ep or lp out, with a choreo, and concept -styling, makeup, props).

Thank you for the reaction!! You're probably the first reactors that shared my feelings about this song , picking out BBD, Busta Rhymes, the Mighty Ducks, etc. I'm a musician and K-Pop has really shifted my ears in terms of how I hear music. It's like when you don't understand the lyrics, you're listening to every other nuance of the song instead. SM Entertainment (NCT's entertainment company) has a unique sound that's very multi-layered and "crisp" (with a lack for better words) they're also known for the best vocals, leaning R&B with a distinctive bridge. NCT is a great start and there are many dope K-Pop groups out there (but so far, NCT is my favorite mainly because of their diverse discography). Seeing that you're all about music production and not solely a reaction channel, perhaps you can pick out production aspects of the songs that you react to? If you check out the NCT Daily channel there are behind-the-scenes of the recording of NCT's tracks. As a performer, I find it very inspiring/helpful to see how artists go through the process of putting out good music. As far as reactions go, if you like 90's R&B, check out NCT U's "From Home" and WayV's "Love Talk" Other K-Pop groups to check out: Stray Kids, Ateez, TXT, EXO, BTS (the most well-known and largest fan base), Seventeen, GOT7, SuperM. They all have their own flavor so it's best not to compare the groups (K-Pop stans are very passionate so its best not to start fanwars). Good luck with your channel! I've subscribed!

It is one of their bsides on their Resonance album. The track video includes only half of the song and does not have english ccs. Great reaction. You’ll find that most Kpop groups have incredible dancing, strong vocals and rap. Their videos productions are some of the best out there according to industry professionals. KPOP is not only pop, they explore all genres, so you’ll find some groups that are very RnB focused, while others are more rap focused, some are heavier rock while others are buble gum pop, there’s chill hop, ballads etc, there are solo artist and rock bands. Theres KHip hop, K RnB, K Rock. NCT is a large group and they seem to do everything, they are especially known for being experimental with their music, especially the sub unit NCT127. I’m older and have been to only two kpop concerts with my daughter and her friends, and that wasn’t to take care of them cause they were young but it was because I’m a genuine fan and was the one that introduced the music to them. I went to an NCT127 concert and it was fantastic, so when the world becomes normal again, you should definitely try to make it to a concert. And Chicago gets good Kpop concerts in their city, so you are lucky, even if it’s five hours away. One of the members of NCT, Johnny, is from Chicago (he wasn’t in 90s Love).

So, the dude rapping the second verse in this song was one of the two newest members. This is the first time he's appeared in a music video before...so this is kind of his "debut." He's Korean, but the other new guy is Japanese. NCT has diverse members; Korean, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, American, Canadian... and what you're watching is one of 3 or 4 different songs that were produced as a collective project... meaning, as other comments have stated, NCT has multiple sub-units...'NCT 127' is kind of the main group, 'NCT DREAM' _was_ the under-18 group(but they've kind of re-arranged what their doing with DREAM since now all the members of that sub-unit are over 18,) then you have 'WayV,' which is basically Chinese NCT(created to target the Chinese market,) and then you have 'NCT U.' The U stands for 'universal' I think, and it's kind of a side project unit... anyone and everyone could potentially participate. The last time the entirety of NCT came together was back in 2018(called NCT2018.) This new 4-song collaboration is called "NCT2020." What sets this bi-annual collaboration apart from 2018 is the fact that they brought everyone together from their different sub-units, then mixed them up and divided them back into 4 seemingly random teams, each team assigned to perform one of the 4 songs.(Back in 2018 they just did one song called "Black on Black." Check it out when you get the chance.) So, NCT2020 is kind of functioning like the "side project" unit NCT-U. Anyway, hope that helps. Feel free to search up any of the sub units I just listed; they all have multiple music videos(just know that if you search the 'under 18' group NCT DREAM, most of their stuff is bubble gum pop Disney channel stuff, made for kids...though it's produced well.)

Oh, one more thing... y'all seemed impressed when the switched it up for the bridge... the guy who came in for that R&B switch-up? His name is Haechan. NCT has a wide variety of incredibly skilled vocalists, as well as incredibly skilled rappers.(that's kinda how they do it in Kpop...it's like you fill a certain roll... you got a 'vocal line,' a 'rap line,' & a 'dance line,' although dance line members don't only dance...they fill 2 rolls. It's just that they are the most skilled at dance. It's all about skill in the world of Kpop. These guys train for years perfecting their craft before their management company will let them debut.) Anyway, Haechan is NCT's resident soprano voice. In the world of vocals you have 'low medium & high' ranges, otherwise referred to as "tenor alto & soprano." Haechan is NCT's best soprano. He hits those HIGH notes...and does it with style... if you listen to this track, you can hear him hit a super high note in the final chorus...the dude has got skill, & it's worth pointing out. :)

This song was written in part by Adrian McKinnon who is a black singer songwriter based in LA and most of the top hits from NCT are written by him and his co-rider Tay Jasper. Take Jasper is also a black singer songwriter and also one of my other favorites. I’m 43 and felt every one of your feelings! This song brought back my high school years. When I was playing the intro my husband thought I turned on Poison 😂 loved your reaction and thanks for giving k pop/ k hip hop a chance. Also I flew to Chicago from Florida to see a k pop group (BTS) back in 2019. I have seen so many live performances over the years and there is nothing more energetic and visual as a k pop live performance.

ur right! more than half the team are 2000’s kids ahahahah the oldest, Ten is 1996 Mark is 1999 and Winwin is 1997 While Haechan, Jeno, Yangyang are 2000’s kids And the youngest sungchan with the busta rhymes line is 2001 (the jerseys in the back are their names!!) NCT is enormous and have every genre imaginable under their belt I highly recommend 7th sense if you like r&b vocal breakdowns with some smooth rapping, it’s a must for every new fan!☺️☺️

This reaction is one of the best I've seen for 90s love!! I love NCT - they're one group at the moment that consistently try out new sounds and experiment with so many different genres. I know a few people have recommended songs but if you want to see more of a showcase from them I recommend NCT U - Misfit, NCT 127 - Limitless or Simon Says (both pretty unusual) and NCT Dream - GO. Also if you like RnB, pleaaasseee react or listen to SHINee. They provide bop after bop. They were the first in Kpop to try New Jack Swing with their song "1 of 1" and damn its so damn good. Their discography has no skips!

ngl "90s love" and "Kick It" by NCT are my fave kpop songs of 2020. The vibes are so refreshing and - chefs kiss. The air is just different when you listen to these two. Anyway, I saw many NCTZENS (fandom name) already explained abt NCT concept so I think you guys at least get the idea already on how this group work. Thus, I would recommend you to react by sub-units to avoid confusion lol. You can always start by one subunit and then change to another. Maybe consider making it a series? There's also one easier way to get to know them deeper, which is by going to the *NCT GUIDE* video made by the fans on KZbin. (pls react to the one by Softjun). IF you wanna react by subunits, I think you better start with NCT U (since anybody can basically be the member cause it's rotational unit). NCT U usually has the most liked concept and appeals more towards newer fans . Try react to these lists : 1) 7the sense (i think it fits your vibe. It's their debut song) 2) Boss (the most covered idol song in 2018. It really makes you feel like A BOSS. A type of song you would listen when you just wanna feel good abt yourself lol 😂. Consider it as their breakthrough song too cause this is how basically newer fans know NCT) 3) Baby Don't Stop (only two member from NCT, which is the TWO MAIN DANCER in the group. It's very sexy and it's classy) 4) 90s love (basically this video lmao) 5) Work it (it's a song after 90s love. You see the teaser at the end of the video. has retro and disco concept) 6) Make a wish (again, a breakthrough song for them in 2020. References from Aladdin and the middle east arts. It's super catchy and laid back which is very refreshing) p/s : Im glad you get the reference from "Mighty Ducks" and "jump jump" part. They be really goin hard for the 90s era. Even the spinning camera transition also reminds me of the 90s 😂. Also you did the right choice by wearing headphones cause it feels really wrong to listen to an NCT song without headphones. NCT musicality is insane so I'm sure you pretty much don't wanna miss out all of the little details in the background (music and vocal wise). Anyway great reaction and goodluck!

You probably already know by now, but the jerseys are the group's names. You have to watch the dance practice for this song! It's my favorite choreography of all their songs so far. These boys are so talented. As for reading the lyrics, I turn captions off. I don't care what they're saying. Music is universal. I just enjoy the beat, the sounds, the vibe, the visuals. Nothing better. In my playlist, I usually listen to the Mandarin/Korean versions of the songs because the English lyrics are different from what I'm used to listening to from them and other groups. I don't have to understand them to love them. :)
