Yesss this is the first Candy song in SM, and this version of nct remaking H.O.T (first generation) made this song popular again, I mean those who've were here for long time in the kpop world already know this song since it's so iconic, but for the one's who are new into kpop it's like introduction to the first generation of kpop, and honestly H.O.T got such an iconic songs!!

I honestly love the original song the most, this version feels a lot more polished and modern, which makes sense. However, I can't imagine any other group being more perfect for a remake of this song. NCT DREAM did an amazing job and I definitely will be listening to this rendition a lot too. Mark and JENO's added rap part was especially my favourite and I love how they kept the butt bounce choreography ^^

also yes! nct dream's concept has always been young-er, cuter kinda vibe. now that they're older it's less explicitly cute, but their songs aren't as experimental as 127. 127 is very experimental and usually pretty gritty, they do rnb a lot too. wayv is somewhat mainstream bc they're targeted towards the chinese gp but they're also pretty experimental and try new things.
