I feel like "We Go Up" is a bittersweet nostalgic song -- and it was fully intended. Like the end of summer vacation. It's because Mark was graduating out of the group, so it's having fun and looking back, but knowing goodbye is just around the corner, and missing the members before he's even gone from them.

There’s a part where you see Mark standing far behind everyone watching as they run down the road and it hits so hard

Not everything has to be suggestive. I think NCT as a whole suffers from that from fans. Given, they have more suggestive songs compared to other groups but there are fans who overthink even the littlest of things from the lyrics. But we all have different interpretations, so to each their own. Thanks for checking out the lyrics!

Oh I absolutely agree! I think the oversexualization of the industry is a big problem (esp when a lot of the artists are so young!) I do, however, think the producers should also be aware of how their titles will be construed (i.e. Dive Into You) lol bc it definitely gives a certain assumption before you listen to the song. but overall it's really not a big deal, I just know how much thought goes into these decisions, so sometimes I wonder what impression they're trying to make with certain titles. Hope that makes sense :)

Yes. yes to acknowledging Jaemin’s voice. The only reason I checked out nct further was when i heard his verse in puzzle piece. I loved the tone of his voice there and i was surprised to hear the variety of his tone in the different bsides(and the fact that he unfortunately has very little lines despite how much i liked his voice💀). Unlike Mark or Jeno who seems to have found their voice and work with it, Jaemin in particular seems to experiment a lot on his tone and while it seems to me like he has found his voice(like he mostly uses the same rap tones in title tracks) he has more to offer with his variety as seen from their bsides. Anyways, i’d love a reaction to nct dream’s “ridin”’(unless you guys have already seen it lol) And maybe other SM artists as well(like EXO since they’re my ult along with red velvet. And even aespa)

There are a lot of theories as to what their journey entails but it’s also very cool to watch and pretty versatile so you could either analyze or not worry about it too much if you don’t want to. They debuted with a double title called Pirate King and Treasure in 2018 and that kind of begins our introduction into Ateez’s world as well as the other albums in the first series. They just finished their second series of albums before they went on tour so they’re on a bit of a vacation and they’re going to move on to another arc in the story in their next cb. And I’ll put them in order so you don’t have to do it yourself: *Treasure series:* Pirate King (Ep. 1) -> 2018 Treasure (Ep. 1) Say My Name (Ep. 2) Hala Hala (Ep. 2) Illusion (Ep. 3) Wave (Ep. 3) Wonderland (Ep.
