Your wife is right. Mark participated in the writing of the song. Most Czennies know Renjun has struggled with anxiety. Art is one of his therapies and he is a very gifted fine artist. The other guys in the group are very protective and encouraging to him. So yeah she's right. It is in part about Renjun and an anniversary present to encourage and show appreciation to Czennies.

This song feels like a warm hug, offering comfort through its lyrics. Knowing that Mark co wrote the words makes it even more special. It means a lot that it's Renjun's favorite, especially since the first lines seem like a reply to the song he wrote, "That Star." Mark and Haechan have been running nonstop for the past years, juggling schedules between NCT 127 and DREAM. Just the other day, they were at an award show, then went straight into filming with DREAM until 6 am. Without any real break, they were back at it the next night, filming again until the early morning. Even though they’re both exhausted, they never complain. They’ve got each other’s backs, which makes the crazy schedule a bit easier to handle. Mark’s got this incredible stamina, but Haechan tends to get sick more often. Haechan, being the oldest in his family, naturally steps up to lead the younger DREAM members. Mark even mentioned that Haechan’s starting to feel like a real leader these days. He’s always joking around, but when it’s time to work, he’s all business. His maturity is on another level. They lean on each other a lot, especially with how crazy things have been. For Mark, though, staying busy is almost like second nature. You know how when someone’s used to being busy all the time, and then suddenly they have nothing to do, it can feel kind of unsettling? That’s Mark. He actually enjoys being busy. When he’s not scheduled for something, he’s spending his time writing songs or working on music. In K-pop, if you’re not constantly on the move, time will just run over you, that’s how brutal this industry can be. Mark gets that, which is why he’s always pushing forward, keeping himself occupied, and staying ahead of the game.

As many have said, Mark & Haechan has been hopping back and forth between multiple groups ever since their debut. They both have said that they cannot rest properly because they need to stay busy. Even on their rest days, they're working on their solo projects or just improving their craft. And unfortunately, because of how fickle being an idol is and how shortlived most idol careers are, it makes sense Mark & Haechan are pushing hard now to establish themselves in the industry so they can relax later on. Fans call them the strongest duo and they are indeed, very strong in how they manage their schedule. It doesn't stop fans from worrying because there are signs of their tiredness. Mark continuously have to get IV injections to combat is exhaustion and Haechan is always taking vitamin. It's good that they have each other to support and take care. They remind each other to eat & sleep during their schedules. Even when they were trainees, they took care of each. There's the story that Haechan picked on Mark when they were trainees to the point Mark almost quit. But we later learn that because they were roommates during that time, they could not go back to the dorms unless the other came. Mark often overwork himself and Haechan had to do something to get Mark back to the dorm. Hence all the teasing and pranking to get Mark to switch focus. Haechan is actually very mature and the members often mentions that. Mark has said Haechan sometimes act as co-leader in Dream because it is very natural for Haechan to take charge. 127 will also let Haechan lead because he has great speaking qualities and thinks logically. Taeyong has said that of all the members who can take up the leader role, it's Haechan. So you can say Haechan is already a pillar in NCT.

This lyrics made me cry and the fact that I will be listening to it live for the first time ever next week in their concert in Colombia, makes me wanna cry even more. It is just perfect.

I believe Mark left Dream toward the end of 2018, and SuperM debuted in October 2019. While he was active in NCT 127, he was likely working behind the scenes to prepare for SuperM. As for Haechan, he may come off as cutesy most of the time, but he's incredibly witty and often takes the lead in Dream and sometimes in 127(the 127 hyungs are considerate; they let the maknae take the lead or make decisions for them😂) especially alongside Mark in Dream. Even back then, I sensed a maturity in him, and I was surprised to learn that he's the oldest at home. It's ironic that Taeyong is the maknae in his family, but perhaps it grew on him before debut, given that he’s one of the oldest in NCT and has thousands😂 of younger members to look after.

I think (though I can’t speak for Mark) that he enjoys staying busy. Of course, it’s not just him-Haechan and the others likely feel exhausted too. This exhaustion isn't always visible during their shows, guest appearances, or their own programs, but it does show at the airport. Often, they’re not wearing makeup, and their tired eyes are very noticeable. I remember Han mentioning in an interview (probably from their survival show before debut, though I might not recall perfectly) that at his age, he prefers to be busy because it gives him a sense of purpose. I think in the entertainment industry, staying busy with multiple projects can be fulfilling; otherwise, it might feel like you’re not achieving anything or making progress. But this is just my personal take😂😅.

When Mark was asked about the process of writing the lyrics, the very first thing he mentioned was about Renjun and how he loved this song from the first hear 🥲 and from there he wrote it thinking about the members and fans. But yeah, I really feel like Renjun kinda played a part in his inspiration 🥲

NCT Dream only has the full album in 2021 with HotSouce before that mostly they only has one mini album every year, they are more function as youtubers than normal boy group. The 1st concert the Dream Show was in 2020 only covers korea, Jpn, Manila, Bangkok and Jakarta. It has ended right before COVID. Only 6 members since Mark graduated. Until 2022 mostly Mark and Haechan only promoted with Dream during 2 to 3 weeks of music shows. The rest NCT Dream operated by 5 members only. For example in 2021 12 out of 13 festivals stages were only attended by 5 members so they always has 5 or 7 coreo and songs line up. When Mark graduated, Dream mostly led by Jeno. Hence we always said Dream's leader is Mark and Dream's captain is Jeno. I acknowledged Mahae worked super hard ( not mentioned Mark is even working on his solo at this moment) but the remaining 5 also have it hard with has to promote Dream as 5 outside music shows. Only commencing 2022 7Dream promoted more often and has the 1st concert as 7 or TDS2 in August 2022 woth concert in Gocheok. But 2 days before the concert it has to be cancelled after 2 members down due to covid. But ofcourse they always bounced back with 3 days concert at JAMSIL. Sorry i carried away with Dream's lore. These kids never have it easy... Since 2016

I love this song soooo much! It's not my usual type of song but it sounds and feels gorgeous. Wednesdays are my favorite because you guys watch NCT and that makes me happy. Plz plz plz watch One Talk for One Lemonade it has Johnny and Mark as the hosts. It's so good. Also Cheerful Field Day. I know you will enjoy them 💚

4:37 when i first heard the song i thought it has moonlight vibes so i expected a melancholy but very happy vibes yet tears started coming out of my eyes when this lyric appeared. and then for a moment i was hit with the reason why i love NCT and all the units despite a lot of fanwars, don't get me wrong, but...NCT DREAM is my healing group, my healing place. my comfort. i always feel seen by them and they make me feel that i'm not alone in the struggles of the world and myself as a human being with the message of their songs, their musicality, their personality and their genuine outlooks in life
