Ten and Yangyang actually had their own podcast/show after this. it’s called “UNBELIEVABLE with Ten & Yangyang” heejun was also there. It’s actually fun to watch very chill and they have different korean artist guests. As far as I know, Dive Studio is Eric Nam’s company or smth like that

NCT has a world tour called NCT Nation where all 26 members are part of the concert and they perform songs from all the sub-units. Mark participates in all the songs he is part of and he knows all the choreography. But what's even crazier is that around 2016 when NCT first debuted they used to do end of the year music shows and award shows where all 3 of Mark's sub-units -- NCT-U, NCT-127 and NCT-Dream -- performed back-to-back and Mark had to literally book it off stage to change his clothes and be back on stage within 2 minutes to perform the next song. There is old footage where you can see him running full speed and sliding into position at the last second as the music for the next song starts to play. And yes, Ten speaks 5 languages: Thai, English, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese.

Mark and Haechan have been doing back to back world tours since like 2019, with the only break being in 2020. It's extremely stressful and and hard for them. They enjoy their jobs a lot and they wouldn't trade it for the world but it's made fans worried very often because Haechan has been hospitalized and forced to rest a couple times from heart issues and Mark as well had had health scares because of it all. Even members like Taeyong who isn't in as many units as MaHae had injuries caused and exacerbated by being overworked as an idol. At the end of the day they love what they do, so we just have to trust that they know what they're doing lol

I don't know about Korean, but in Japanese there are a lot more descriptive words than in English. But there are many words in both languages that have no word like it in the other language. 🤗

As a russian I can assure you we have A LOT of descriptive words, the most fun thing you can make adjective/verb/noun from any word, even come up with non-existent word and we still understand what you was trying to say 👍👍

At one point 9:51 Mark and Haechan had 3-4 concert's in the same week, Smtown, NCT 127, NCT DREAM and some award show... Like it was absolutely catastrophic

@@ethanoloh_ I KNOW RIGHT?? I believe they are the most overworked idols right now in the industry. Like they have had a handful of breaks, and all of them are because they fell ill. Both getting Corona and Haechan also having heart palpitations and another case of being overworked to the point where he had to be transferred to the hospital.

All in all the English speaking members are Johnny, Mark, Jaehyun, Ten and Yangyang. Those are the ones considered fluent, but over the years these members have also proved to be very good at English and communicate very well and often in English: Taeyong, Kun, Chenle and Hendery. They're not fluent, but they all learn a lot from their English speaking members. Taeyong and Kun in particular are also very close with a lot of English speaking producer friends of theirs who they work with often as they both are heavily into producing their own music, so they get extra practice in like that.

if NCT has a family concert with SM ent , for example in Jakarta. Then the next day NCT Dream had a solo concert in Bangkok, so at that time they immediately continued their schedule to Bangkok after the concert in Jakarta. And if not long after that, NCT 127 has a concert scheduled in Japan, Yashhh!!! Mark and Haechan will immediately join NCT 127 and going to Japan. Always like this... :" hopefully my boys always be healthy

i think rather than having more "expressive" words, western cultures in general are more open with expressing emotions outright, whereas more contextual cultures tend to liguistically express how they feel more subtly and sometimes it comes off as more poetic as they would tend to use metaphors instead of just saying how they feel

i just wanna say i think a lot of languages have more words than english hahha….there is just a lot of stuff thats hard to translate 1:1…both ways…but my native language is german for example and there are a lot of english words we ‘borrowed‘ and use…there are also a lot of german words in english tho btw! best examples are: doppelganger, kindergarten, wanderlust, poltergesit…i was shocked to jear some of these im english conversations haha (and actually its spelled doppelgänger here which in short ä= promaunced as e kinda hahah)

Eric Nam is probs most famous for the kpop meme "your dog speaks chinese?!" kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn6QamyrgdueaKs Mark is Catholic, Doyoung is Christian too, I'm not sure about most others but Haechan also prays with them, Mark often has thanks to god in his speeches & in some album/merch like poster messages etc Jaehyun, Jungwoo & Jaemin are atheist but thats all I know about NCTs religion/lack of religion

Jaehyun is definitely on a fluent level. And Xiaojun is another good English speaker too. I'd say he's even more fluent in English than Hendery 😂
