I loved his unique movements and you could really tell he’s developed his own individual artistry. However, as a dancer myself, I I don’t think the videographer realized how interesting a dancers feet are. It’s honestly a shame they were cut out from this video.

I read an interview he did where he was talking about how he couldn't dance at all when he first became a trainee. He said that even the dance instructors used to comment on it and didn't believe that he would ever be good enough. Look at him now. He was born to dance. His story is the reason I believe it when they say the agencies can take anyone even people without talent, and they will create a star.

Came back here after watching SDC 3 and 4 and then I appreciated this freestyle even more. Remember freestyle isn't about just executing huge moves, but it also attracts the audience when the dancer is so in sync with the music so this taeyong really proved that idols are more than just a pretty face.
