I’m happy Yuta Xiaojun Hendry were highlighted/shined more than before in NCT U stuff. If you don’t include Call D/Golden Age, all the members were included in 2-3 songs each with the exception of Haechan.

Personally for me, what sold Pado to me was Haechan's fancam (I might be a bit biased as a haechan girlie). I feel like their actual performance in NCT nation has a bit of added sexiness and charisma (probably because it was an actual performance and also black outfits) which made me like the song more. Haechan's fancam stood out because he was particularly really into the song and performance and was really feeling it.

personally also loved how stripped down baggy jeans is. like barely any instrumentation, super simple base line and just the guys voices and its just.... perfection. Ten and Jaehyuns voice gets me everytimeeee. You should try to hear the guys commentary on the entire album the one they did for melon, adds additional details to the songs

honestly shocked that not everyone is vibing to baggy jeans!!! My all time fav NCT song is 7th sense then probably listened to superhuman most after but something about baggy jeans... it gave me goosebumps the first time i heard it with headphones and the DANCING literally cant. get. enough.

i appreciate how you gave it another chance! i initially watched the performances thru nct nation and with the dance + visual, it really elevated the songs for me exponentially. especially the bat and pado. i still think the archive video for pado wasn't hitting as much as the concert version (HC's fancam was insane) which i would highly recc if you have the time :D

LMAOOOOO your love for hendery is my favorite thing ever ajshddgshja im glad he was in more stuff this time around !!! same w johnny too i think im p impressed w how they repurposed members who sometimes don't get as much shine across songs + videos ngl really happy you've at least warmed up to some songs :) i'm also not a lyric heavy person, instrumentals and interesting melodies will be the make or break for me! i had a moment of doubt w this album ngl but hearing every song more and watching the videos as well has solidified my views more. funny enough tho i didn't like kangaroo at all watching the video, i thought it felt quite boring and low energy but listening to it alone has been better!

Love me some Hendery appreciation! I am so glad he got a lot of lines and screen time because he's so underrated. Regarding Baggy jeans, I agree with you that it's not as unique as 7th sense, but I think it's still a good song , so catchy and has a good choreo or maybe I am just biased because this is my favorite sub unit hhh also I am so happy to see Ten promoting again. the only thing that I didn't like tho are the outfits,so ugly and looks like costumes!!!

The NCT Nation stage was quite big actually, they were multiple levels, but for this one, they close the back side and did not decorate it so much since. The main units (127, Dream, WayV) & Call D was quite extravagant at least for me ❤️ it was nice.

I think they don't need anything else but the members, doing nothing is the best thing, people only wanted to see the members of the 7th Sense in this performance. 19:40 I think Baggy Jeans is more dependent on showing your strength and toughness in the performance, the melody & synth of the bat helped much more to establish the atmosphere of the song, and make you feel strong.

I really recommend watching PADO, Alley Oop, Call D, The BAT, Kangaroo from NCT Nation. It just hit DIFFERENT live. We were all GAGGED. The energy was ❤‍🔥

I wish they did something like Cat&Dog for Kangaroo, but all the budget went into the Bat it seems like lol. Not that I mind that, that vid killed me. Also great experience using headphones, really shines brighter Still don't really care for Baggy Jeans choreo, it has it's moments, but nothing to really go crazy about. You can watch the Bat from the same concert and feel so much more energy from the performance. Yuta, Jeno and Jisung are insane in that one. Johnny's emo hair cracks me up though P. S. You should check out Faded in my last song from that concert. Yuta did some of Taeil's parts and he did amazing.

Yeah this album wasn't a listening album for me either, but the performances videos did help a lot to bring the energy and cohesion to the songs. So happy to have the WayV boys be able to participate and stand out a little more in this one, too.

About baggy jeans, I saw a Taeyong fan saying that SM had 2 options for them, baggy jeans and another one that sounded more like the 7th sense but taeyong chose this one. Idk how true it is but baggy jeans does sound like a nct 127 song or Shalala even. I like baggy jeans a lot but I do wish we had something different like we did with the 7th sense song.

As always, I appreciate so much your opinion, it adds new things for me to focus and think. Totally agree with the dynamic between videos and songs, and how much can contribute to build the whole concept. I actually didn't love the track videos; I like that they exist in an emotional way, cause I can see more members in mvs, but I usually struggle with the tough guy styling in kpop, it's hard for me to buy it. I'm glad you chose that stage of Baggy jeans, I hadn't watched it. What I really love about that song is the production, and because of that I'm not a fan of the music show's pre recorded versions; for me personally it took away some of the shine of it.

If I'm being totally honest. I'm only drawn to BAT bc of the Jisung fancam of NCT Nation. I am obsessed with the stage presence and confidence he brought to the performance and now I hv started watching the fancam religiously hence why i love the song. I think the song went viral bc of him and Jeno. I also loved Alley Oop so much more after the performance. Pado is still a meh for me. And finally Kangaroo is too cutesy cute for me. I hv to day Baggy Jean's and Golden Age seem like the weakest songs on the album for title tracks. But SM must know what they're doing right??? Oh this is just a last message. It was a paid concert thats why its not a good quality, most of the records looks like this except some fancams recorded by fans who were at the concert. The stage it wasnt bad at all, u ll see later with the official video from the concert.

I dont care about any ones opinion and I understand yours but I love Kpop for the amazing difference and how they can put all these genres in different songs and also make new ones. So Baggy Jeans to me is something that will stick in peoples heads like Lucifer and Ring Ding Dong. So you can say what you have to say but Sm entertainment knows how to promote and make bops. Even if you dont like it you will hear it a lot. And thats the truth. GO NCT!!!!! And I really loved the song Pado! Mark to me is a beast! And Riise just came out with a new song and I love it. Called Get a Guitar.

WOW i feel like you spoke my thoughts. i remember during nct nation when i heard the songs i was like "damn these are all so good, the albums gonna be a no skip" and then i listened to the album and there wasn't a single song that stood out to me or that i fell in love with. Without the performance/visuals i realised how rap heavy it was (and i just prefer vocal heavy songs!) and I just did not vibe with it which is rare for me with nct albums.

I was watching those track videos and even though I loved the majority of the musics, don't you think that SM needs to learn how to make their idols look more comfortable in front of cameras? Sometimes I think that they look a little awkward doing their thing even though they're doing it since 2017 I think? No hate, just something that I feel about them

@@sevenkpink2894 I think the problem is that some idols still can't take on some necessary roles in the MVs acting, it's a problem that also happens with Stray Kids, Red Velvet sometimes, early EXO and Twice too, etc. It's something that gets better with experience but NCT has some members that still looks weird on MVs or live interactions. I'm talking about things that looks obviously forced, the bad acting in general. Like I said, it's not their fault, it's about their formation as idol and SM
