This song has 7 members. Johnny, Ten, Jaemin, Jungwoo, Jisung, Hendery, and Yuta. You don't see Jisung dancing in the MV or dance practice because his knee was injured and he couldn't dance for all of NCT 2020 sadly. But he's better now. That ending clip was a teaser to Resonance, where all 23 members did a mash up of their title track PLUS a song they didn't do an MV for called Raise the roof.

Work It is my favorite lineup of NCT 2020, I hope they're placed together again. Definitely the fun group. The content around this subunit from last year is hysterical. You don't see much of Jisung in the choero because he was recovering from a knee injury, that's why he mostly just standing and vibing in the video.

I'd say they chose some the most chaotic, random and playful members for this combination and it worked for me 🤣. I love watching the live stages for this song. Especially the fancams because these guys looked like they really had fun performing.

work it unit was the best thing to happen to like fans of these members cos they all just clicked so well and their unit promotions were so fun. i think they have the most fun stages cos its just all about creativity and just pure vibes. from the outfits, to the face details and painted nails (yuta). and despite being the 'least popular' unit in resonance they were the only ones featured in vogue korea LOL. and fun fact! yuta actually got the nickname work it-moto yuta after some of their live stages (sbs inkigayo 2020 yuta facecam lives in my head rent free) because of how well the embodied the concept.

Work it unit is so underrated in the fandom, i hate it😭. It’s such a gem and lineup is amazing. It would’ve been perfect if Jisung got to dance as well. Also indeed, Jaemin is simply stunning. He pulls of everything but this black hair had everyone in chaos since this is the first time he dyed his hair black after debut.

In the end of 90’s love we have the start/reference of Work it, and at the end of Work it of Resonance, the mashup of Make a Wish, 90’s love, Work it and Raise the roof

i feel like this member combination was unexpected from the get go since they weren't the member who gets a lot of shine in their original unit. but seeing they can pull it off and made a really big impression in nct 2020 resonance, recognized, and performed it soooo well even with jisung not able to join with them (he had an injury prior to work it, actually it was in ridin era) i'll say they are exactly as needed and important and also center worthy members💚💚💚

omg that wasn’t even johnny’s real hair 😭 a kpop hair stylist did a good job with extensions THAT was a new one! this song was very different from anything else resonance era and it was a very new combination of members (SM chooses members for nct u units by who they think which members would suit each concept best). its a hate or love song for most people i think… at least on twitter ahaha. the live stages were super fun as well they looked like they had a blast since the choreo left tons of room for their personalities to shine, and it made me appreciate the song more! the red clip at the end was the resonance mv teaser like how at the end of 90’s love they had a teaser to work it at the end ahhh u missed my favorite part with johnny and hendery at the back @ 13:51

no one really knows why certain members are chosen for certain nct u tracks other than vibes xD but this was part of nct 2020 where all 23 members kept getting mixed and put into nct u units, a lot of them very unexpected. to me it just seemed like sm wanted to show that all the different units are really part of the same group. in 2019 and a big part of 2020 many of the units barely interacted especially wayv, many fans didn't even consider them part of nct back then. so putting all these different members in songs together was a great way to show the world that nct is one group even with all the different units for work it specifically idk how sm chose them exactly but if u watch their banter you'll see that their personalities mixed really well and fit the song really nicely. a lot of fans miss this particular lineup a lot

When it was announced that Jisung was injured and wouldn't be able to promote for NCT 2020 we weren't sure if he would even be in the video for Work It but I thought it was really cute how they added him even though he wasn't allowed to dance

Once you've got your Patreon setup, I think an album reaction to Resonance would be awesome. Resonance Pt.2 was a truly GREAT album! In a perfect world we would have gotten mv's for Volcano, Music Dance, Nectar AND Faded In My Last Song. 😄

The ending scene is a teaser for Resonance... basically it's the culmination of NCT 2020-Resonance era. It's an original song (Raise The Roof) mashed up with three others (Make A Wish, 90's Love & Work It) into a medley.

i think since u have checked out MAW, 90s Love and Work It, its a perfect time for u to react to Resonance MV (all 23 of them for group project called NCT 2020 with their album called Resonance). Their first big group project was NCT 2018 with an album called Empathy and their mv for all 18 members at that time was called Black on Black. They are supposed to have another big project this year with NCT 2021 but not sure whether they will still go thru with the project this year bcs of the recent Lucas issue.

This song has grown on me so much since it came out, I was one of the people who wasn't a fan at first, but it's so fun and light hearted, very 2000s, just nice club vibe lol and this combination of members was so random but SO good, they had so much good chemistry performing it live and in their promotional content around it, it was great. How the members were chosen is not clear, but during NCT 2020 every single member was included in at least one of the 4 title track songs they had (Make A Wish, 90s Love, From Home, and Work It) so I suppose the division just worked in their favor. I love the choreo because the members actually got to put a lot of their own input and creativity into with their interaction moves especially. It's so cute, especially live. As others said, Jisung was injured for most of 2020 and so he wasn't allowed to do the choreographies for the songs he was apart of. He just vibed in the mvs and when they performed it live. "Hot Sauce" was also so big because it was his return to dancing as well. And that teaser at the end of the mv was for "Resonance" which was their NCT 2020 performance song, combining 4 songs off the Resonance album (Make A Wish, 90s Love, Work It, and Raise the Roof), for one epic performance. Everytime NCT do their year projects (they've only done it twice so far) they have 1 song for all the current members of the time to perform together. In 2018 for their Empathy album, it was NCT 2018 "Black on Black" with 18 members at the time and now for 2020, for their Resonance album it was NCT 2020 "Resonance" with all 23 members. Since you've seen all the core mvs from NCT 2020 it would be great to see you watch both performance songs in one video! Both are very different, but still have this epicness from seeing the whole group perform together, and they're performance songs that are meant more for visual impact rather than enjoying listening too (although I do enjoy listening as well).

I didn’t realize until watching your video that there are actually seven people in the track/MV, but only six in the dance practice… I think this was when Jisung had an injury? I totally forgot about that; but I think that’s why you kept getting confused during the video because they would show seven of them individually but then only have six on stage when they were dancing most of the time… that was super confusing😳 So yea: Johnny Yuta Jungwoo Jisung Jaemin Hendery Ten 🌸
