just a little fun fact! the plushie in the mv that ryo gave to the boy, is tonton! which is ryo's childhood doll who have been with him since he was born. it was a gift from his father to his mother when they got married and later on passed down to ryo. one of its ear fell off, so his father and sister sew a green ear to it. tonton has been an important figure for ryo and he brought it with him to korea. the teaser for this mv is interesting cause it is in tonton's pov!

1. Green star is an important symbol for Wishies' lore. (remember how the ghost became a green star in Steady?) So I'm allowing the green star on the tree haha. 2. The puppy plushie is actually modeled after Ryo's actually treasured plushie Tonton! The mv teaser introduces Tonton, I recommend taking a look (doesn't have to be recorded) because it's so so sweet! It really shows the significance of the act of Ryo fixing Tonton and giving it to the child. 3. I think their shop is more of a second-hand presents vibes and more of a toys' hospital? Rather than exactly santa's warehouse. They already explored fulfilling children's wishes in Songbird, and they have easier ways (star candies!) to give children their presents haha. If you've gotten this far, thank you for listening to my rambles.

Another essay incoming: I love the way nct wish portrays growing up. In the beginning, they were little cupids just out of training. But in Steady, Sakuya learned to be happy for a precious friend (the ghost) while also losing the closeness they used to have. In this mv, Ryo gives up his treasured plushie that has been passed down from his parents, so old that it no longer moves and makes the "tonton" sound it used to. He fixes it up and gives it to a child who needs it more right now. It's another loss that brings happiness. These complex emotions are what Wish decided to focus on as a part of growing up. It's also super interesting to look back at Dream's discography and how they portrayed the transition and growth. They seem to focus more on the rebellious aspect? While still maintaining the positive hopes. The different stories that these nct units tell are so interesting and sweet.

The green-eared puppy doll in the music video symbolizes "TonTon," a doll that Ryo's father gave to his mother before Ryo was born. It is a cherished keepsake for Ryo, a member of NCT WISH. The music video seems to revolve around "TonTon" as the main character. Initially, "TonTon," a precious doll to Ryo, has now become a significant part of WISH's winter-themed story, "Wishful Winter." ...🥺 2:37, if you look closely at the building in the first scene, you'll notice a toy repair shop with a "TonTon" mascot. Sion, the owner of "Wish & Fix," is seen riding his bike to work, while the other members are employees of the shop. 3:25, NCT WISH is shown preparing to leave the store at 12 o’clock for an appointment. The lyrics mention dreams in the night sky and a green star atop a tree, symbolizing that their departure is to help fulfill someone's wish. 4:10, WISH arrives at a location where children are waiting. The members create heartwarming memories by sharing balloons and prepared gifts. 6:52, a child watches "TonTon" closely from afar. 7:16, Ryo, who is organizing things in his car, realizes that "TonTon" is missing. While searching, he finds a child who had taken the doll. 7:21, the child runs off with "TonTon" and hides in a warehouse. Rather than scolding the boy, Yu-shi looks at him kindly, silently understanding his motives. 7:37, after waiting patiently, the boy returns "TonTon" to Yu-shi and runs away. It is then revealed that the boy had lost his puppy, a dear friend and family member, which resembled "TonTon." 7:51, Ryo empathizes with the child's feelings and decides to repair "TonTon" to grant his wish. "TonTon," originally a robotic dog that made "ton-ton" sounds, had broken down over time and could no longer move. Understanding the importance of the doll, the other members also help fix "TonTon." 7:59, when "TonTon" is completely repaired, all the light bulbs in the shop light up. The lyrics suggest that the light represents hope, melting hearts and making wishes come true. Two wishes are fulfilled: The child's wish to see his beloved puppy again. "TonTon's" wish to warm someone's heart in the snowy winter (as hinted in the "Wishful Winter" teaser). Ryo's determination ensures that both wishes come true. 8:12, the story emphasizes the selflessness required to give away something precious for the sake of others. The lyrics convey that all wishes will come true someday if you believe. 8:29, the little boy places a green star on top of the tree-a symbol of wishes being fulfilled. In gratitude, the boy gives Ryo a medal, thanking him for understanding how precious "TonTon" is to him. Ryo feels proud and happy, and "TonTon" remains a part of WISH, even if it’s no longer the store mascot. 8:45, Jaehee is seen placing a green star on another tree, signifying that the store will continue its mission of granting wishes. Although "TonTon" was given to the little boy, its presence remains with WISH, symbolizing the spirit of making dreams come true. The interpretation referred to this person's tweet. x.com/wish_greenstar/status/1861436494420025766

We need more NCT WISH reactions, you only react to the when they have comebacks. Wishies have a lot of fun and cute content for you to watch.

They probably mentioned "green star" just as a shout out to NCT having green as their fandom color. SHINee and TVXQ have mentioned their fandom colors a few times in their own songs, too.

Green is NCT colour which is why they said green star and they also showed a literal green star in Steady MV

The b-sides on this album are really good and show another side to their music style if you wanted to check some out. Far away and our adventures are good songs if you want to listen to something brighter, but they've also gone more dark and neo for some of their songs like choo-choo and nasa. Touchdown is also really good and a mix of neo and brighter sounding.
