You guys are definitely having some sort of a culture shock with their humbleness lol. They know they are hot shit do not worry. I do think it's very much of a Korean thing to be this way. In order for no one to shit on them (and not them only but idols in general) they show a more vulnerable side. It contrasts with their strong/charismatic personas in music videos and when performing so it makes them relatable. Those are the basics of a Korean idol. Sometimes they do show their confidence however. I am sure they genuinely worry whether a song will do well or not because they worked so hard and sometimes that doesn't happen. It doesn't chart etc. Or it just doesn't do as well. So their worries are valid. Other times I am sure they might think oh shit this will do well. But they still try to humble down and be relatable. That is the core of it all

And It’s D*oh*young, not “doo”) You’re doing pretty good with the names) At 10:10 Taeil is doing back vocals for the last chorus of the song. So if you listen carefully to the song you’ll hear it! Kenzie is a living legend. If you see her songwriting discography even on Wikipedia you’ll understand what I mean. 90% of SM’s hits is her job she’s brilliant producer and songwriter. Actually most of the SM’s producers are. Moonshine, Dem Jointz, LDN Noise and more - they’re all crazy good. You can watch LDN Noise’s videos “making of” if you’re interested of producing process. EXO’s Monster, Gravity and WayV’s Love talk are great examples.
