Apparently rapping in Chinese is harder than rapping in Korean, so whilst I agree that 127 have the better raps thanks to Mark and Taeyong, I think Yangyang’s skill in rapping Chinese lyrics should also be acknowledged. (Also Hendery).

In vocals terms it'll be hard for me to choose cos 127 have variety of vocals that match so well together while dream have 3 amazing main vocalists that I believe can carry any vocals together and have great chemistry.. On the other hand Wayv has different vocaling ranges and have great high notes... So yesss NCT's vocals supermercy :')

for me, wayv is the most cohesive unit overall. they're really good as a group! their concept is the most well established and consistent, their music videos are beautifully shot and have an incredible amount of visual storytelling, they're an incredibly talented & well-rounded group of individuals that work really well together, and their discography, though small, is unique and has a signature wayv sound. not a single bad song in their discography!! that's not to say 127 and dream aren't amazing as well, i just think they have their own unique strengths and it works well for them as individual groups. i'm also not saying i'm not biased either lmao, i'm a weishennie and wayv is my ult of ult groups, but i love and appreciate nct 127 and dream as well! 127 actually got me into nct initially lmao

I think rap and vocal goes to 127, they have really good lineups both for rap and vocal, dremies for dance and the catchy songs, NCT u's songs are more to - perform like, and wayv's songs are nice for vibing and listening on a day while doing something. In conclusion, NCT is a legends' group

I personally like dream's dance the best coz all of them r main dancer material.all of them have their own dancing style and swag . Otherwise I couldnt rank any other title among the NCT subunits coz they're all so good at everything they do.

personally for me, wayv is my most fav!! I've been with all the units for at least one era and when I just entered the fandom, I wasn't sure whom I liked the most most. But slowly I realised it was wayv for me ~ like in terms of vocals, dance, rap and variety wise, all of these are present in wayv for me, as in my taste and preferences lean a bit more towards them. Ofc I do love the other two units and occasionally catch with them too whenever they have a comeback but for way, it's forever with them. Overall I love and support whole of NCT very much

My Top 3 in each category I WISH I WOULD NOT BE KILLED 🙂🙂 VOCALS (I'm a Vocals Fan) 3- WayV (Xiao Jun Vocals is soo good but Sadly he is in a different Level to the other WayV members) 2- NCT DREAM (The Most Blended Trio Vocalists Haechan, Renjun and Chenle they are supporting each other to make it PERFCET, acapella ver of their songs is a must ) 1- NCT127 (Taeil and Doyoung Vocals is a wall that Hard to pass, I'm sorry to the other 127 members YoungTaeil parts are always the first part i will love and enjoy in their songs😭😭💚💚) RAP (I'm not a Rap Fan) 3- WayV (Not so comfortable with memorizing them in Chinese) 2- NCT 127 (I know they have the BEST duo Rappers but their rap are Hard to me to memorize Specially TY, for me hard to memorize = hard to enjoy) 1- NCT DREAM (not the Best Rapper Line but the easiest Rap Lines to me to memories and Enjoy) Choreography/Dance = Lets be honest we barely get any NCT member whose bad in Dance they are all so good. 3- WayV (Moonwalk is DOPE) 2- NCT 127 (I get tired instead of them keke no need for Gym learn 127 Dances and its a Guarantee to lose weight i swear if i was in their place i will take a day off after performing a single song of their songs😭😭) 1- NCT DREAM (I'll make it simple Easy to remember = Easy to get into my heart😂😂 + their formation and team work and synchronization are amazing i love how all Dreamies could be a main dancers if they were in a different groups they are getting better ever year😭😭❤❤ *Hello Future* i would faint if i perform it + honorable mention to ISTJ and Broken melodies and Candy ) Debut Song 3- NCT DREAM (Cutest Debut ever but yet the lyrics is still Funny to me after all these years) 2- WayV (This is Cheating Korean ver is already one of my fav 127 songs and WayV ver is sooo good, it's one of the best Chinese songs) 1- NCT 127 (Fire Truck is the Queen of 127 titles, End of the story, but rip their outfits and hair style😭😭💔💔 ) Music Video 3- NCT 127 (their MV's getting weirder and weirder each time, ugly outfits most of the time and weird hairstyles TO ME this is a criminal, Pretty sure they got Superhuman by mistake the only normal and beautiful MV from all their songs, honorable mention *Touch, Kick it, Lemonade (another mistake) 2- WayV (lets be honest i didn't get much chances to see them, but to be true Dark theme MV's is not my fav, But it's super deluxe well done MVs) 1- NCT DREAM (bright colors, beautiful and fun to watch MV's + beautiful hairstyles and outfit = Deepest place in my heart) Discography 3- WayV (sorry WayV i only know 8 songs so..😭😭💔💔 again having hard time with Chinese language + not fan for 18+ songs, I PROMISE I WILL GIVE YOU MORE CHANCES LATER) 2- NCT 127 (i will make its simple Heavy Rap plus WEIRD songs are not my style - even though i love already 52 songs 😂😂 + again 18+ song is a BIG NO to me) 1- NCT DREAM (i can't explain how beautiful their songs are and how much its fits them, i feel like their songs are made by me or specifically to me 90% of their songs fits my Style perfectly *i love 70 songs, i have bunch of their instrumental version downloaded in my phone and yes HOT SAUCE is a MASTERPIECE and the pre-chorus is my ring tone✌✌😎😎) Concept 3- NCT 127 (Sexy and weird Concepts are not my Style😅😅) 2- WayV (the neo technology graphics in their songs is so good but again Dark themes not my type) 1- NCT DREAM (DREAMIES made all my dreams come true PERFECT Concept EVERY COMEBACK they don't have any Bad Concept (except ISTJ and Go Both are my least fav concept) hmm conclusion i love all NCT units but yeah I'm a Vocal person who prefer simple bright, youthful and fun songs, life is already complicated so i want to enjoy simple songs even thought they are not so simple😅😅 sorry for the long comment but i had fun sharing my opinion.

personally, i feel like nct dream has the best mvs and concept overall. i'm not really into wayv but the aesthetic they normally go for is cool, HOWEVER for 127 i have such mixed feelings... i feel like sm has been giving them such low-budget-like mvs recently: limitless? superhuman? regular? AMAZING VIDEOS. sticker? gimme gimme? favorite? ........... well um. they're not BAD bad but they just feel too simple for me in comparison :/

Imo Vocals: 1. NCT 127 because they have 3 vocalists with most developed technique 2. WayV because they have Xiaojun 3. NCT Dream Rapper: 1. NCT 127/Dream. Both units have Mark but 127 has Taeyong while Dream has Jeno with Jaemin and Jisung are okay too 2. WayV Dancer: 1. NCT Dream. They literally have Park Jisung soo... and also they have very solid dance line and even their worst dancer isn't bad either 2. WayV. Ten is dancing machine like how it is possible. Only rank 2nd because I think the worst dancer in dream still better than wayv 3. NCT 127. Choreography: 1. NCT Dream because they are very versatile and each choreo is very hard yet still very interesting 2. WayV. Personally I think their choreo overall is more synchronized and solid 3. NCT 127 Discography: 1. NCT 127 because they have most songs so naturally they already exploring more genres 2. NCT Dream 3. WayV Mv: Honestly I have 2 rank about this, before 2021: 1. NCT 127. this was actually such a good ranking tbh- when Taeil is in 127 and Ten is in WayV the vocal and dance ranking is just obvious lol- and the only thing I might disagree with is the discography, if were looking at the number of songs then it obviously has to go to 127, but in terms of not having a single bad or even "this isn't great" song, it def goes to WayV, and about the Concepts, Dream and WayV have recently changed a lot about their music style, and I think its really great but its SM's fault why they had to stick with the same concepts for years-

Im gonna piss some people off with discography but, 3. 127 - when they have hits its SHINee level (gets banned during exams for distracting students). They have a unique sound that doesnt work for everyone, but its theirs. The fandom almost started a war over sticker. 2. WayV - they dont have as many songs, but all are bangers. Even when they have 2 versions i prefer the Chinese ones 1. Dream - definitely the most public friendly. Even nonfans stream them. When they do experiment with genres its still at a palatable level. All songs top of my playlist

For me which unit I like and follow most depends on who is having a comeback When I first got into nct I watched a lot of wayv videos because of Ten Then hot sauce era came and I got to know dream After that nct 127 had a comeback and I watched a lot of 127 things And then glitch mode so I’m watching lot of dream content again I really hope that wayv has an comeback soon because they haven’t had a comeback since I became a nctzen .( winwin was alreadyin china back then) But one thing is for sure that I think 127 is best in the categories rap and vocals I For discography I like dream’s and wayv’s overall But if you ask my favourite songs, they would be 127 songs… Comparing wayv gets harder in most categories because they haven’t got much comebacks…

imo vocals: 1. 127, i mean it's hard to compete when they have Taeil who is without a doubt has the best technique in the entire group. I personally think Doyoung is not much far from the other Dream boys but when you have the two of them plus Haechan, Jaehyun and Yuta together their variety and tones makes them the best. 2. WayV, if 127 has Taeil then WayV has Xiaojun who despite the differences is just as good. Kun has a very interesting vocal tone and unique technique and Ten is like a fairy that adds the flavor necessary to make their combination perfect, much like the powerpuff girls. 3. Dream, Renjun and Chenle and even without Haechan they always understand the assignment. They're last for me purely because i like the other units vocal dynamics and variety better. Rap 1. 127, again undeniable, they have Mark (their best), Taeyong who has a very unique and interesting style and i would even go further and mention Jaehyun who has been doing more rap lately and absolutely serving at it. 2. WayV, Yangyang is top 3 he was the missing piece of NCT rapline that was missing for years and New Axis proved just that. Hendery also has a very distinct style and even if it needs a little more polishing i already appreciate it very much. Again, they're above dream for the sole reason i like their dynamics more (plus Only Human and King of Hearts exists) 3. Dream, I mean they do have Mark and Jeno improved a lot but compared to the other units i think that's their weakest link.. Dance (i would like very much to separate this category from the performance one cause for me these two are very different things) 1. WayV, first they have Ten, second as a group they have the best choreos out of all units, Third their consistency and synchronization as group is amazing, they always deliver at that. 2. Dream, for their last comebacks since they get back as 7 their choreo been so consistent i feel like as a group even tho Jisung is the main dancer they're all almost at the same level and the fact they been performing together since they're children also adds a lot to that, as an dance group i find them perfect. 3. 127, While they do have dancers that are great on their own i don't think they work well as a group. You look at Taeyong and Yuta and they have very distinct styles that they don't tend to tone down to match the rest of the group energy so when you look at their overall performance it's almost like everyone is doing something different... their choreos also been getting lesss interesting within the years maybe to fit the more recent tiktok trends but i find that a bit disappointing, cherry bomb and kick it will always be iconic tho! Performance: 1. 127, while their individuality as dancers take away points from them as a dance group, on stage as performers it makes each of them have their special IT factor. 2. Dream Not much as individuals performers but again their consistency makes them shine as a group and as someone who has watched their improvement over the years i always feel satisfied after watching a Dream performance, no matter if there's 7, 6 or 5 in the stage, they always deliver. 3. WayV i purely blame their lack of opportunities to be on stage for them being last on this one but they're also great performances, Xiaojun leave me speechless everytime he's on stage and individually Ten is undeniable Top 3 in the entire brand. Debut song 1. Wayv i agree with Regular their version is the superior one but also Take Off as their original debut single is just as perfect 2. 127 i loved firetruck when it first came out and i still love it to this day 3. Disagree with some stuff. Imo Rap: 1. 127 2. Dream 3. Wayv Dance: (NOT choreography) 1. Dream (5 of them are like in the top 10 dancers of NCT. Renjun def in top 15, chenle best dancer among the ones with no dance position and better than like 2 lead dancers. Dream as a whole is extremely strong dance wise) 2. 127/wayv (ten>ty but mark>yy, 127 has more members and hence more dancers so I'll just rank them equally) Choreos: 1. Dream (they have chewing gum, mfal, hello future, glimo, beatbox under their name) 2. 127 3. Wayv Stuff after this is all subjective so for me Debut song 1. vocals: 1. 127, because they have the two best vocalists imo (taeil + doyoung) and the most variety in tone (yuta, haechan, jaehyun, jungwoo, all have very unique, distinctive, and nice voices). 2. wayv. xiaojun carrying them on his back he's so good. right under taeil i would say. ten and kun are also good, not top tier imo but have their shining moments. 3. dream. love them all but in terms of technique and variety i think they're the weakest. their vocals are all pretty similar which is fine but i like it when people have more distinct sounds. rap: 1. 127. not even a question because of mark and taeyong. 2. dream. mark carrying them on his back, but jeno is catching up. jaemin could be good if sm decided to give him lines for once. i like the sound of jisung's voice but in terms of flow and clarity i think he and jaemin don't hold up to the other rappers. 3. wayv. yangyang and hendery carrying but honestly it's just hard to compete with groups that have mark and taeyong in them. dance: 1. 127, again largely because of mark and taeyong. yuta and jungwoo are also very very good. they have the most iconic choreos too imo (mainly cherry bomb and kick it come to mind). 2. wayv because of ten. best overall dancer in nct. the rest of them keep up pretty well too lol. yangyang and hendery are very good. if they ever did a more contemporary/ballet kind of choreo i know winwin would kill it. 3. dream. none of them are bad dancers. jisung is really good but not taeyong or ten level (yet). they just don't have choreos that i love a lot or that stand out a lot to me (although recently i really liked hello future). only their debut hoverboard choreo sticks with me as super iconic. music videos: 1. wayv, talk about production value. they never look cheap, over edited, etc. polished and aesthetically pleasing, especially if you watch the mv uncut and figure out the storylines. 2. 127 sometimes over the top and the editing has been weird lately (there's this one shot of johnny aggressively dabbing towards the camera in gimme gimme that is unforgivably bad). but they have iconic ones too (kick it and simon says are my favourites). 3. dream just because i think they're a little less high concept and fall behind in terms of aesthetics and storytelling. debut: 1. wayv but tbh i only like regular so-so. i just don't really like the other debuts T-T 2. 127, fire truck is weird. i like the haechan/taeil prechorus a lot. 3. chewing gum is just... too childish for me. it fit for what they were going for when they were so young but not my cup of tea. discography: 1. 127 by sheer volume, they have the most songs that i love. 2. wayv has several songs i really love; domino, after midnight, love talk, take off, action figure, etc. 3. dream has my least favourite discography just because i don't really like the bright and colourful kind of music they usually make. i actually really like ridin' and boom. we go up and dive into you are also really good. concepts: they all tie for last place. i hate kwangya.

apart from units i would also rank the individual members are such: rap: 1. mark/taeyong. i think mark has better flow and command over the beat but i love how aggressive taeyong is. they have different styles and both are really good. 2. yangyang, i actually don't think wayv's title tracks should how good he is. his flow is always good and i just really like how he pronounces things with his accent. 3. jeno. similar to mark but grittier, i think if he got to mark's level of flow i would prefer his voice but as of right now he's not yet there vocals: 1. taeil. not a question 2. xiaojun, good at both soft and strong vocals and crazy good high notes. 3. doyoung/haechan. very different but i love both of their vocal tones. (personally i like haechans voice more but i think objectively doyoung is a better vocalist). dance: 1. ten/taeyong, so good. amazing. i think ten is much more versatile and has better overall technique but nobody embodies a song like taeyong, especially when the dance is hiphop. 2. yuta/jungwoo underrated kings give them more centre time. both of them for sticker/lemonade/favourite really really caught my eye. they're so smooth. 3. jisung. if i liked the choreos he did more i would probably rank him higher but i don't think dream choreos do him justice stage presence: 1. taeyong 2. everyone else

Honestly I disagree that Jisung is not on Tenyong level. I would argue that his dancing skill is around the Ten level while Taeyong is slightly below them and Shotaro is above those 3. Jisung is very specialized in popping which is on another level and he is very good implementing it in Dream choreo especially. I suggest to watch the entire of Dancing High episodes to find out how good Jisung actually is (I think Dream choreo doesn't doing justice for him tbh and he doesn't doing any dance covers anymore). But yeah in general he is one of the most developed technique dancers in the whole NCT

In terms of vocals, my opinion is that NCT 127 Is 1, but WAYV should also be tied with that first spot, nct dream is last. And in my opinion, and I’m trying to leave Haechan & Mark out of it in terms of the fact that they are in both 127 & Dream. But, WAYV has Xiaojun and Ten- who in my opinion can only match Taeil in 127. I’ve never heard Doyoung, Jaehyun or Jungwoo hit the vocals Xiao & Ten can do. Taeil, Haechan, Xiao & Ten are on their own tier in my opinion. Also in rap, imo NCT Dream is 1st, then 127 then WAYV. But that’s very hard. I only think dream comes first because everytime Jeno/Jaemin has to cover Marks raps when he’s gone for any reason in events- they do it PERFECTLY and can mimick his energy in the songs. Like recently, Jeno covered marks rap in hot sauce. And he did amazingly. And Mark in NCT dream is just so different than 127- in my opinion he performs better with Dream.
