Back in Classic Who, each regeneration had a twist of difference, which I have missed in New Who. This is like a reverse Tom Baker/The Watcher regeneration, and given that Who is heading in a new direction, (yet again), and the powers that be are clearly seeking to gain a younger audience, a clean break, as it were, was needed. As much as I am not entirely a fan of RTD's writing, I think that The Giggle and the bi-generation has achieved that.

What I really liked about it was that it only happened because they were currently in the Toymaker's domain where belief and superstitions can alter reality, meaning it actually doesn't break or change the established lore at all.

I seriously let out the biggest squeal EVER & clapped so loud when I saw the regeneration scene, totally loved it! Also, that 'copyright dance' never gets old I was dancing along with you! Can't wait for your review Nerdy Brit. Dave Tennant/10/14 didn't "have to go" after all & that suits me just fine.

Another awful episode of doctor who. Rehash of the meta crisis, rehash of the master ending of the last of the time lords, rehash of 10th doctor having his happy ending with Rose, rehash of the image in a tv (as per day of the moon with neil Armstrong) All rehashed ideas, a time lord can now retire?? But the 15th still the same doctor and has the same memories? So how is 15th not "running on fumes?" How???....??? It makes no sence. Stop fooling yourself. No matter how you try to explain it. It was an awful episode with rehashed ideas. And the second tardis was a deleted script idea/deleted scene from journeys end where you could grow your own tardis amd have your own adventures
