ND Miata subwoofer placement & install

Why did you tap into the door speaker wires, when the Bose amp only sends 80+ Hz to the door speakers? Wouldn’t you want to tap into the subwoofer (green + brown) speaker wires only for the JBL sub?

Do you know if you can retrofit a subwoofer into a 2015 MX-5 without a Bose system with the exclusive equipment?

Yes it should be easier than the with the Bose system. You'll just have to find the speaker output
