At least he identified himself as lesbian woman when he created she-ra reboot. He's still a queer person and belongs to the minority group. I do prefer woman representation by female creators, but what's wrong with woman representation by male creators as long as it's woman representation. Also a show is not created by only its 'director', but also by crew members.
