The choir singing here is Umndeni Oyingcwele Catholic parish choir from the Archdiocese of Durban, South Africa. The CD recording took place in Durban more than fifteen years ago. I listened to the rest of the music from your Archdiocese of Bulawayo and the style is completely different! I find it difficult to be respectful towards the uploader.

I have listened to this song many times. We used to sing it back home in Bulawayo. Well by then without instruments. When I got hold of this copy a few day back I thought that the instruments have changed the complex if the song. I am not really sure where the song originated as both KZN and Bulawayo people a language and culture. If the song really was done in KZN and that can be authenticated then , I would suggest that it is pulled down and accredited to the right people. While in Bulawayo there are a lot parishes that play instruments in a similar style to this song. But, the parish that is said to have done this song has no history of playing instruments. If it was really in Bulawayo, It would seem this song is from Peter and Paul (Mpopoma) or Holy spirit (Holy Cross) these parishes are into instruments more than ingungu.

@@mkhaya , In order to get an informed position of the songs' origin. I would suggest that the evidence be more substantial than what you suggest is evidence that the song was not done in Bulawayo or the song was done in KZN. This would help us to arrive at the point of the song origin. It is , then, that the people involved would be consulted over rights. In my view, it is a bit too harsh to bring light evidence and accuse the uploader of infringing copyrights.
