This is absolutely divine... Does anybody know anything about Ms Hart? I can't find much information about her? How old was she when she started dancing? Where did she train/dance? What is she doing now? Her dying swan is beautiful...inhuman... She IS a swan

I can't imagine anyone not know about Evelyn Hart, but all you have to do is check her out on Wikipedia.

She is privately training dancers now. Someone who graduated my home school is now training with her and she won 1st place at YAGP semifinals.

Evelyn Hart dancing with more musical sensitivity than Makarova, really only Pavlova would outdo her. Deidre Kelly argues in her new book perhaps culture should consider leaving these artists a stipend as national treasures considering the nun-like sacrifices Hart and some of her ilk have made for the art form and the very poor compensations and difficult post career life these supreme artists must endure. "Ballerina" the new book by Kelly excites a modern discussion of the political isolation of perfection and feminisms collision with culture's perfect woman.

Glen Kotyk In Russia, they are pampered, lavish rock stars. It is a poorly compensated art in America. I've known many major ABT and Balanchine stars. I wish I knew the Russian ones-
